Get that hometown feeling in our newly remodeled Loft within walking distance of Historic Main Street Galax Virginia. The Fiddlers Roost is a spacious two bedroom suite that features a full size kitchen, spacious living room and bathroom with comfortable amenities. Two complimentary bikes available upon request for riding New River Trail and around downtown. A short walk to everything such as restaurants, entertainment, Antique Shops, Coffee Shops, New River Trail, Historic Rex Theater, and about one mile from Felts Park, Home of the World’s Largest Old Time Fiddlers Convention.

**If the dates you are looking for are not available for the Fiddlers Roost, please check the New River Hideaway or the Blueridge Haven downstairs suites for availability.**

Our Loft has a spacious living room with a 55” Flat Screen TV over an Electric Fireplace, Air purifier and a Futon for extra sleeping arrangements.

In the first bedroom is a spacious king bed with lamps on each side with plenty usb ports, 50” flat screen and a closet with some extra comfy blankets.

The second bedroom has two twin beds with a lamp in the middle with usb ports, 42” flat screen and a closet with extra comfy blankets.

The kitchen is fully stocked with full size appliances, utensils, plates, bowls and a Keurig Coffee Machine.

Full sized bathroom with shower/tub combo along with fresh towels.

Complimentary WiFi and you are welcome to use your own Netflix, Hulu and other accounts on the smart TV’s.

We can provide 2 complimentary bikes for your enjoyment upon request for the New River Trail or just riding around town, so no need to pay extra rental fees and hassle with renting. We have added gel seats for extra comfort and one bike has an air pump. We also have bicycle storage for your personal bikes in the basement with security lock, security code will be provided upon request. We also provide electricity for the EV Bikes in the storage area.

** The loft has about 13 steps to the top therefore we are not handicap accessible.

Automated lights on the stairs at night and hallway light at top of steps which can be turned on at bottom of steps and inside the entry door.

Self-Check in with keypad on door.

Bed linens and blankets are washed after each guest. Blackstone griddle on porch for those nights for grilling steak or those mornings for pancakes.

Take advantage of the many adventures around the area such as:
Blue Ridge Parkway, Fishing, Tubing or Canoeing the New River, Fishing Crooked Creek, Hiking or Biking the New River Trail, Music Festivals, Virginia Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail, The Rex Theater, Wayne C Henderson Festival on Grayson Highlands State Park, Pilot Mtn, Mayberry (Mt Airy, NC) and lots of antique shopping.

We met the host on arrival as he was finishing up in the apartment. The host were easily accessible, very friendly and helpful. The apartment was quiet and private, clean, with a comfortably large kitchen and living area. Beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Bathroom was clean and everything was nicely decorated. We would definitly stay again!

This was a short day as I am looking at properties in the area. I loved being close to downtown and will definitely stay again as I am looking. Super cute decorations and comfortable with all the supplies and equipment needed plus more.

We had a wonderful stay in the Fiddlers Roost! The property was spotless and well appointed. It was quiet and we especially appreciated the black out curtains which allowed us to sleep in. The property is within walking distance to downtown and the New River bike trail was a short ride away. We will definitely return in the future!

Superior apartment

My friends and I had a great stay at Fiddler’s Roost. Brian and Heather were great hosts, having so many nice and thoughtful amenities throughout the apartment. In addition, they were very communicative and responded very quickly with answers to questions we had. We definitely plan to stay there again!

Great for Family, Mounyain Getaway.

HUGE bed in master room. Fully stocked kitchen with all we needed for small meals, very clean, and a great view of the mountain. Minutes from Wal-Mart, dining and even walking distance to a Dollar Tree.

A lovely home

Our stay was very enjoyable. I can tell the homeowners genuinely care about their guests and their home. The decor was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. My absolute favorite thing about this place was the shower! Plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure!!! The location was noisy since we were so close to the road, this was disruptive since we are used to a quiet home in the woods. Also, as you should expect, there is a limited number of stores and restaurants in the area. That said, we weren’t looking to visit a city so it suited us just fine. Parking was a challenge because the neighbors parked their mini bus in the center of the only 3 available parking spots. However, that is certainly not a reflection of the homeowners. The home was clean but not perfect, such as a few hairs found on the toilet and in the shower. All in all, 4 out of 5 stars! (If you imagine all the luxuries of a 5-star hotel, this place isn’t that. But it’s lovely!)

Mother daughter weekend.

Absolutely lovely. Very clean! Plenty of space and privacy. Owners touched base to make sure everything was good via messaging through the app, but they were not obtrusive. I would absolutely stay here again next time we visit VA. Thank you for a memorable and relaxing weekend.
