Black Bear Lodge offers a perfect blend of rustic charm with modern comfort in the heart of Gatlinburg. The perfect place for spending quality time with your family but also has plenty of room for privacy with 3 spacious floors and 7 bedrooms. Enjoy a drink on one of the 3 wraparound decks or soak in the hot tub. Located less than 4 miles to downtown Gatlinburg and 1/2 mile to Arts & Crafts Village, this lodge is conveniently located to all the attractions including Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This 7 bedroom, 8 bath cabin can accommodate 20 guests with a mix of 5 king beds, 1 queen bed, 4 bunked twin beds, and 2 queen sofa beds.

The location was perfect. The property accommodated all our guests and provided separation and community all in one place. We would recommend the property for those needing to accommodate a large group.

On January 2nd I sent a message to the host with suggestions and received no response. We paid ALOT of money to stay in this cabin for it to have the issues it had. Here is the message I sent to the host.I don't want to leave a bad review on VRBO or yelp so I wanted to mention some things that are really terrible at the cabin. For the amount of money we paid things should have been alot better.I am not sure who cleans for you but there was so much crumbs and food on the kitchen chairs. The shower in the main floor bathroom was clogged there is no way they cleaned it because as soon as I turned it on it held water we had to plunge it. The bathroom sink was clogged.One of the refrigerators icemaker didn't work.and the other refrigerator the interior light didn't work.The pots and pans need replaced they are very old.The towels are worse than cheap hotel towels. The washer and dryer is not suffice for the amount of people the cabin says. Also the dryer is horrible it took 2 hours to dry a small load of baby clothes.The sheets are extremely old, thin and stained. The mattress covers on the bunk beds are so pee stained it is truly gross. There is no light outside of the hottub and the light in the hottub didn't work.There are so many things that were really bad. I hope you can make some repairs and changes because the cabin is truly beautiful but it needs some extreme TLC. Again we paid alot of money to have to deal with the things we did.

The cabin was not the cleanest. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. The hot tub was not working, one of the TV’s in one of the bedrooms did not work, and the dryer took forever to dry the clothes. For a cabin that was to accommodate 20 people there was not enough forks my family of 15. Gatlinburg was close which was really nice. The big kids enjoyed the tee golf arcade game.
