Prairie Creek Cabin -Ride SxS to trails from the cabin! Kayak and Fish the Creek

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Mena in a beautiful golf course community. It sits nestled in the trees with a beautiful view overlooking the secluded 14 acres on Weedhopper Ranch. Enjoy fishing or kayaking on Prairie Creek. Trailer your rig to the trails or ride your SxS to Wolf Pen Gap or Fourche Mountain from the cabin. It is about a 15 minute ride by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We will provide you with a map that shows the route we take from the cabin to the trails. The cabin is equipped with everything you need. Enjoy the deck, grill out or just sit by the fire and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Kitchen was fully equipped. Very clean cabin and property. Property owners were just a message away if you have questions. Would recommend for a couple great weekend. Ride the trails or enjoy fishing at the river.

Small cabin was great for the 2 of us. We had ridden up on a motorcycle to ride the Talimena Scenic Byway but was rained out. The cabin was cozy and comfortable as we stayed through the rain. We were visited by squirrels, humming birds, and deer. We were lucky enough to see the deer in the afternoon and evening. The creek is a short walk across a pasture that we saw a raccoon getting water, fish swimming, geese and ducks. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom was functional with good hot water and stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. Great for a couples retreat. Host were helpful and communicated very well.

This place was perfect for our 5 night stay. The cabin was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kitty was a very welcoming host with her snacks and homemade snickerdoodles. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’ll be back!

Great cabin and a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. very close to town, it was just easy and convenient from start to finish. The hosts Fish and kitty were so friendly and easy to work with, they even provide snacks and amazing snickerdoodle cookies. The cabin was quiet, relaxing, and a perfect spot to get away for a bit.We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, comfortable place in Arkansas.

The cabin was so cute and thoughtfully stocked! The hosts left us homemade snickerdoodles that were excellent! The hosts were always available to me if I needed anything and texted me to check in. The property was wide open and gorgeous! The cabin was small and cozy. I loved spending time there!

Kitty was very easy to work with, she thought of everything a traveler would need! Kitty left detailed directions from the property to the trails for UTV's, the property is also set up to park your trailer and leave it while you enjoy the trails and town.

We are from Texas and fell in love with the mountains and Mena. We found our 14 acre property and loved its location and everything it offers and retired here. Beautiful views and complete peace of country living.
