Every day, you’ll have the choice between lounging on a secluded sugar-sand beach just steps away or relaxing by your private heated pool complete with tiki bar and outdoor shower.



The Space:

In the evenings, fire up the propane grill for a cookout and take in breathtaking sunsets from the home’s double-decker patios, the perfect spot for outdoor dining, drinks, and conversation. Adults can unwind in the private hot tub, while kids gather in the bonus room for games and movies.

Our group had a fantastic week at The Bombshell! The location and sunset/sunrise views were spectacular!! The private beach was wonderful and only a short walk away. Foster, our host, was easy to reach and answered all our questions right away. Our elevator was stopped and he had a repair person there within hours. We loved all the main living areas and having two refrigerators and dishwashers was a game changer!Bring hangers if you can and maybe a couple stackable crates for the bathrooms because there are no drawers except in the Master Bathroom. Also bring kitchen linens as they are not supplied. There were lots of beach chairs and pool noodles.

There is 11 of us in the family and we were all happy with the home and location. Views were amazing. Thanks for every thing. Forest was easy to do business with and responsive when called upon. We had a great week.

Off season family beach trip

The weather was colder than we had hoped but it was March so to be expected. The pool was nicely heated and very enjoyable. The house was well stocked and it was easy to cook for the two families. The two dishwashers and double fridges were nice. It was an easy walk to the beach and there is a nearby nature trail with elevated wooden walkways. The house was well set up for families with kids. We really enjoyed our stay.

Didn’t have very easy communication with the property manager. We had a couple of issues that were never resolved. The arcade machine and the elevator were both not working. I felt like he was very slow to get back with me and not very proactive about fixing them. Granted, these were just amenities, but they were two of the amenities that appealed to us and led us to book this place.But in regards to the property, it was lovely. Very clean. Excellent excellent location! The beds were very soft and the layout was perfect for a large family. In spite of the issues we would definitely stay there again.

Spacious Well Equipped Property

We had a fantastic time with family at the Bombshell over Thanksgiving. The property is beautiful with lots of room. The bedrooms are well separated,all but one with private bath, allowing for privacy among guests. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the house and it had everything we needed. Our weather wasn't the best, but with view of the intracoastal waterway from the back of the house we had the beach feeling even without going outside much. The only improvements we could think of is to provide body wash mounted in the showers that alot of rentals provide as we had to go and buy soap. Also since the house is spacious and family room furniture spread out, some small tables by the sofa and chairs would be nice for beverages. We had to pull the kitchen chairs and barstools out to use for this. But overall this is an outstanding property. One of the few we would rent again.

Fantastic home, location, amenities and communication by the Property Manager, Foster.

Incredible contemporary home right out of a Crate and Barrel/Pottery Barn magazine. Emaculately clean, bright, airy and well appointed. Everything is brand new and available at your finger tips (spices, laundry and dish detergent, kid and adult dishes, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators in the kitchen (we used one for drinks and one for food), usb outlets on each night table in all rooms. The pool, ping pong table, jacuzzi and pool table were such a blast and provided endless amount of entertainment. 6 beach chairs, pool/beach, bath towels and sheets were all included. Umbrellas were available for the beach and at the pool which was lovely. The location is great. It’s a short walk to the beach entrance to the left which is private to the small gated community the house is located in. During a busy holiday weekend, this was a game changer as we had a ton of space for our large group and a make shift soccer field on the beach. Foster, the Property Manager was an amazing communicator and came by the house within the hour to help us with some small but easy fixes (elevator was stuck on a floor, battery to the front door lock was low etc). He is a great asset and ensured we were well taken care of. A couple of small recs to add to this already amazing house. Add a small collapsible stool to the 2nd floor bathroom for small kids to reach the sink. Add a collapsible laundry basket for guests to use (keep in between the washer and dryer) in addition to a clothes drying rack.

Beautiful upscale beach house with a small walk to the beach. Great location with nice wide, clean beach. Living room could use more seating, especially with large groups.The kitchen was well equipped, however, could use new pots and pans. Upscale deck furniture with plenty of seats. The house has a a lot of steps,however it has a working elevator, which is extremely helpful, with elderly parents.Highly recommend!

We just concluded a week at this beautiful property with our three adult children, their spouses, seven grandchildren and my MIL. The home was perfect for our group. Well stocked, including beach chairs, and pool towels. The two dishwashers and fridges were great since we cook in for nearly every meal. We had plenty of space with comfortable beds and multiple places to lounge indoor and out. The beach was just a short walk away and not crowded at all. The beach was large and the kids had a blast playing there. The ONLY drawback to Ocean Isle Beach is the prohibition on most tents/awnings for sun protection. They say this is to keep from blocking the view of life guards, but we didn’t see a single one the week we were there. It’s very windy so umbrellas are hard to use (one broke at one). Not the end of the world, but worth noting if you need shade. The views from this home really stand out. From the large balcony off the main living area you can watch the sun come up in the morning and set in the evening with both marsh and ocean views. The variety of birds in the marsh area is incredible if you are into such things. Loved the quiet mornings listening to the birds, drinking coffee and watching the sun come up before the family was up. Foster was a great and response host, even inviting us to arrive early to avoid the heavy arrival day traffic.Five out of five all the way around!
