Not too fancy and not too shabby in this "Retro" home built in the 50s~Newly renovated in coastal colors, happiness and just about NEW EVERYTHING except for the shabby chic antiques! 3 bed and one bath one story ranch! Hardly any steps and hardly any steps to the middle of the dirt road that shows a WATER VIEW of Broad Creek and The Bogue Sound! Perfect to walk to ! About three and a haft blocks away or as we say it, " Just down the road a bit" . Boat Ramp is in the same vicinity. Fenced in back yard with paver stone patio and Adirondack Chairs and FIRE PIT. Gas grill, covered parking for one. Parking for 4 in rock drive. Sip Sweet tea on the front porch and hang your beach towels out to dry on the RETRO concrete clothes line! Wooden pins included!
If I were to describe this coastal cottage it has the allure of a unique home much like in the little historic Boros surrounding this beautiful area like; Oracoke Village, Harkers Island, Beaufort, Swansboro and Salter Path . All your modern conveniences ( except a dishwasher ) Which the galley kitchen can be the perfect cook's kitchen, amature hour or restaurant hopper! Kitchen has a coffee bar, mini microwave, full sized stainless steel refrigerator , Electric clean top stove and all the necessities. Dream away in the Comfy beds and Hotel linens and plush towels. High Speed internet so in case you do have to work , you can with free wifi~! 4 flat screen TVs. Just sign into your favorite Streaming apps. Your Vacation awaits for your get-a-way! Perfect!

Was down for a night to visit family, this place was perfect! Super clean, the owner is so sweet and communicated so well! Comfy, has little snacks, nice beds, and a cute backyard fire pit! We will definitely stay again!

Great stay!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend getaway. The home was just as listed, tucked away, and just a short drive to the beach or Morehead City. The home is very clean and the beds were great. It is nicely decorated and we enjoyed the front porch in the mornings. We would definitely sty here again.

Phenomenal Stay! Great family experience!

My family and I absolutely loved this house. We were able to have a nice peaceful weekend. House was very clean and spacious for my husband, myself, 3 sons, and 2 dogs. Local boat ramp for access to sound right around the corner! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Beach Chill Spot

This place was simply great. Great decor, great location, great neighborhood, great home, great experience. If you are on the fence just do it, but remember be respectful to the home and the beach, because this family needs to come back! Enjoy your stay!!! 🙂

Wonderful weekend!

I stayed here with my husband, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. It was the perfect house for what we needed. Very clean with plenty of space for everyone. My dogs loved having a fenced in backyard to play in. 20-30 mins from the beach. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area!

Cute cottage!

This is a great house! The bed was comfy, the water pressure in the shower was amazing and it was very clean. It’s an older home that has been given a breath of life that has kept it wonderful. The owner communicated great and was on top of any questions we had. Our little dog had plenty of yard to sniff around. He is older and struggled a little on the LVP flooring, but that was our issue, not the owner’s. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was exactly as listed. Short drive from literally everywhere, Morehead, Emerald Isle and all the beaches. Communication with Leslie was quick and easy. The beds are amazing! So nice having a washer/dryer in the house. No dirty laundry to take home. We cannot wait for our next stay here! All the comforts of home while on vacation! Definitely five stars!!

The perfect home base for a beach getaway!

We loved our stay at Leslie's Broad Creek Cottage! It was absolutely adorable and the perfect size for 5 adults on a beach getaway. My siblings and I were able to gather comfortably in the living room at night, and still spread out when we needed our space at the end of the day. The location was also excellent. It's about a 15-20 min drive to the beach, depending on which direction, but centrally located to everything! We were back and forth between Emerald Isle and Beaufort during our stay, and the cottage location was perfect for heading out in either direction. Leslie was wonderful and checked in part way through our stay to make sure all was well and see if there was anything we needed.

June 14th-June 18th (Big Rock Tournament Week)

My husband, myself, my mom and dad came down for the last few remaining days of the Big Rock fishing tournament. We rented this beautiful, well furnished, super clean little getaway from Leslie. The house was great, location was great and convenient to many restaurants! It definitely feels like a home away from home! We loved sitting out back by the fire pit! Leslie’s customer service was off the charts! She texted me to confirm reservations before we even left home. During our stay she stayed in contact with me to make sure we were good and did not need anything! We as a family 10/10 recommend staying here! We will definitely be back!

My husband Danny and I are Carteret County born and bred! We trace our ancestrial roots back to the 1700s with both of our families. We love all our beautiful beaches and all that comes with it. I love riding my horses on the beach, Danny loved to surf growing up and boating. Clamming, fishing and swimming and shelling and just plain chilling is what we love. We also enjoyed renovating this older home for a vacation cottage JUST FOR YOU. We hope you love your stay and will come back again...yall~!

This property called out to me especially because I was born in Broad Creek in Bar Harbor area. My POP, my moms father , built our house right sound side with awesome views. Growing up it was horses and adventures all around our water and farm lands. Danny was born in Gales Creek which is right next to Broad Creek. We both reside and work right here. Making this house into a comfortable home is what we imagined what we would want . In your vacation planning , we have tried to equip the cottage with all that we have ever wanted while using VRBOS in our personal vacations.
