Cottage is a 5 minute drive from Soldotna amenities and popular local eateries, some favorites are- Kenai River Brewing, Addie Camp, St. Elias Brewing Company, and Senor Panchos. Gas station convenience/liquor store walking distance away.

5-10 minutes from all the popular boat launches- Bings, Moose, Centennial, Pillars, Eagle Rock. 30 to 45 minutes to Upper Kenai River, Kasilof River, or saltwater fishing. 90 minutes to Homer. Parking for single vehicle with overflow vehicle parking for boat trailers for trout bums coming from Anchorage or the Valley.
