Welcome to Lightkeeper’s Abode!
This 1890 sq-ft home that was completely remodeled in 2023 was once a Lightkeeper’s home. It is in the Hyannis historic district steps away from Main Street where all the action is after a fun day at the beach or the islands. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can be at all the restaurants, shops, museums, outdoor dining, and music of Hyannis. Enjoy the 5-bedroom, 3-bath home with all new appliances and furniture, internet access, smart TVs in every room, and central air conditioning. You can walk to the beautiful Hyannis Marina; and from there the high-speed ferries can take you to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Islands in an hour. Veterans beach and Kalmus beach, which is a favorite amongst windsurfers, are 1.5 to 2 miles away. The excursion trains by Cape Cod Central Railroad, as well as the Plymouth & Brockton (p-b.com) bus services to/from Boston Logan Airport, Boston South Station and Provincetown are a few minutes by walking.

The space:
- Completely remodeled 2-level home
- 5-bedrooms:
- Master bedroom with a King bed and its own attached full bathroom
- 1 bedroom with a King bed
- 1 bedroom with a Queen bed
- 2 bedrooms with 2 Twin beds in each
- 3 full bathrooms
- Bathroom and face towels are provided for up to 10 guests
- All linens are provided and includes sheets, blankets, pillows and cases
- Toiletries supplied include bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion, for each guest and should last for the entire stay with normal use
- Kitchen with brand-new appliances, Keurig and regular coffee maker, kettle, pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and cutlery for 10 people
- Washer/Dryer, Laundry detergent, Ironing boards and Irons
- Central air-conditioning
- High-speed Wi-Fi
- Smart TVs in every room
- Parking in the property for up to 5 cars
- Electric car charging available
- Smart locking capabilities on the entrance door
- Outdoor seating, propane grill with gas tank and utensils
- The outside premises are under continuous surveillance for safety of the property and its occupants

Guest Access:
- Guests have totally private access to the entire first and second levels of the home. Guests do not have access to the basement or the patio accessible from the basement.
- Parking may be used by the owner who accesses the basement at times.

- No pets allowed. No smoking. No parties allowed.

Excellent Vacation Spot for Group

We had a wonderful stay with a total of 3 families. Spacious, clean, and perfect location to catch the ferries, hit the Hyannis main restaurant spots, and have great beach days. Only a short ride to Chatham as well for some seal watching!

This property is nicely located near the pier, Main Street and the JFK Museum. It was an easy walk to local restaurants and key Hyannis sites. The inside of the property is very clean and well maintained. It has modern amenities. It is spacious and well suitable for a large family or group.

Fabulous Stay

Meticulously clean and spacious. We stayed with friends and each couple had their own “suites”. It is within walking distance of shops and various eating places to choose from. It was all we needed for well needed getaway.

Excellent home and close to everything!

We were so impressed with this house. It was probably the cleanest home we have ever rented. It's walkable to downtown Hyannis and very short drive to the beach. The owner was great. Detailed, informative and clear communications were provided. We'll definitely rent it again :)

Nice amenities, spacious, great location

Family visited Cape Cod from out of state. This house was a great home base for exploring the area. Lots of bedroom space, very clean, new furniture throughout, modern & well-stocked kitchen, plenty of bathroom toiletries provided, parking is easy. The location is very useful for walking to Main street for restaurants/shops and also to the harbor for boat cruises, fishing charters, ferries, etc. And the owner was responsive before and during the stay.

Can't Miss Property

The house is in perfect condition, great central AC, tons of parking and as convenient a location as you could get to Main St. and the harbor. Once we parked, we barely had to drive again. Owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again

Family Vacation

House was very clean. Owner was responsive and quick to respond when we needed to add an additional day. The house was set up well for two families with two king beds, three bathrooms, plenty of parking and plenty of dishes. Close to ferry, town green and down town restaurants. Groceries were also a quick drive from house. Took day trips from house to Provincetown, beaches and Nantucket. Enjoyed our stay.

A gem in Hyannis

Our first visit to Cape Cod turned into one of our favorite vacations ever. This house has it all. It is absolutely beautiful, is spotlessly clean, has lots of room to gather together, and very comfortably slept 7 of us with room to spare. We were able to walk to the port, to shops and restaurants. There was plenty of room for parking also. We brought 7 bikes and enjoyed the rail trail and biking on Nantucket. Thank you to our hosts, do not hesitate to book this property.

There was plenty of room for our family! We loved that it had 3 full bathrooms and 5 comfortable bedrooms with cozy beds!! A lovely house with plenty of towels, coffee and space! The location was perfect! We walked to the ferry to go to Martha’s Vinyard, and bit past the ferry are beaches to enjoy!!The restaurants within walking distance were delicious! Baxters, Black Cat, and Anejo were all very special! You’ll want to sit under the 200 year old tree while at Anejo! The lobster bisque was so rich and delicious at the black cat. Baxter’s is famous for their fish and chips! The shopping on Main Street is fun too! I loved the Art shanties! So much to see and do!Thank you so much for a great place to stay Sanjay!

Amazing property

We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. The pictures actually don’t do justice to how well kept, clean and beautiful this property is. I’ve stayed at a lot of rental homes and VRBO’s and this is right at the top of my list. The location is a 2 minute walk to Main Street and all the restaurants and shops and less than a 10 minutes walk to the Hyannis Harbour where we took a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. To say this VRBO is clean and well appointed is an understatement. From the moment I booked this online Sanjay he was accommodating and always available. I strongly recommend if you’re heading to Cape Cod that you stay here….you will be thrilled David Toronto, Canada
