Hi! I am a native Texan and have lived there my whole life. I am a mom to 3 kids, my youngest just graduated and now my husband and I are adjusting to the empty-nester life. In my new found free time I love to travel with my husband and hang out with friends. We enjoy staying at different vacation rentals wherever we roam, and we have also been known to enjoy a cruise every now and then.

We came to Florida because we thought it would be a good location for a vacation home for us to bring the family to. When we started our search, we were certain we wanted to be in Destin, close to the beach. After looking at a few places, we soon discovered we did not enjoy the touristy crowd, the noise level, or the traffic that came with Destin.

After expanding our search further out, we came to Niceville, and immediately knew it was where we wanted to be. We loved that we were only minutes away from Destin so we could enjoy all the things Destin had to offer, but without all the headache. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and provides a relaxing vibe that is the perfect ending to any day. We hope that you enjoy the house as much as we do!

The best way to describe the appeal of the house is the ultimate relaxation destination. There are so many features of the house that contribute to relaxation, you have to experience it for yourself. To start with, we love how close it was to Destin, yet far enough away at the same time. t allows you to relax at the end of the day.

The back patio area has a swimming pool and a hot tub and it is completely enclosed by screening. It is so nice to be able to sit outside and relax without being eaten alive by mosquitos- in Texas that is a real problem. The glass wall that slides open could be left open to let air in without the worry of bugs getting in the house.

The spa bathtub in the primary bathroom pairs well with a glass of wine for the ultimate relaxation. If bathtubs aren't your thing, you can enjoy the double shower heads in the primary bathroom shower.
