This place is beat up and needs a huge amount of TLC.
I knew things weren't going to go well when the first thing we realize, even before we opened the front door, is that our part of the duplex needs a coat of paint on the outside. The location is great. You are within walking distance of the Salty Dog and have a great view of the Caliboque Sound. But the carpet in the unit is disgusting, the drapes make the unit dark, the master shower spits out water so poorly that I couldn't wait to take a shower when I got home so I could finally rinse the shampoo out of my hair, a shelf in the frig is held together with masking tape, the master shower leaks so badly that we had a towel permanently on the floor to stop the river of water, there isn't a light in the entire unit over 40 watts and I needed a flashlight to pack my suitcase on our last night. The furniture and the beds are comfortable and it has good Wi-fi. Find another rental.
