53 Cape Henlopen Drive unit 49- Professionally Managed by Coldwell Banker Premier.
Port Lewes is located in Lewes Beach in a bay front community that features a swimming pool, tennis courts, and pier. This unit is a three-story town home with a first floor bedroom and full bath. On the second floor, guests will find the main living areas, which include an open flow from the kitchen through to the dining and living spaces. This unit offers two balconies, one with a bay view. The third floor features a master suite, plus one additional bedroom and bathroom. This location is great for biking to the Cape Henlopen State Park or exploring the quaint town of Lewes. But don't forget the bay in your backyard or the community fishing pier! Parking for two cars per unit. Cars must park underneath the unit.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $153.60 To purchase the linen package please indicate on the linen addendum, an agent will be in touch with the lease agreement and additional paperwork.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Very well appointed complex with its own beach and fishing pier, and a very nice pool. There is a burger place in the ferry terminal next door, and a Dairy Queen a little further. Downtown Lewes with restaurants and shops a short bike ride or drive.

perfect vacation spot

the house is in a quiet neighborhood and has the best location to just get away. the pool, beach, and fishing pier are only steps away. very clean and comfortable. beautiful views.

The location was quiet and peaceful with nice ocean views, and it was fun watching the ferry come in and out from the deck. You can walk straight down to a beach right in front of the property, though the main town beaches are better and only a few minutes' drive away near downtown Lewes. That said, the rest of the stay was just okay. The house felt a bit dingy and rundown, and the provisions were very bare-bones. There was no hand soap at all, hardly any toilet paper or paper towels, and very limited cookware. Paying an extra fee for low-quality sheets and bath towels was especially frustrating since beach towels weren't included and we had to make our own beds when we arrived. Overall, the setting was nice, but the house itself and the lack of basic amenities made it feel pretty mediocre for the price.

Access to Lewes Beach was just a short 1 minute walk away. It is only 7 minutes to historic downtown Lewes and 10 minutes away to Rohoboth. The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is right next door. My son says we must go back because we haven't tried all the restaurants in the area.

Very spacious, bright living areas with view to the water. Two decks with one overlooking the water. Fabulous view and catches the late summer sunsets. Short walk to the Bay beach at Port Lewes with views across the water to Cape Henlopen State Park. Great ocean beaches and cycle trails in the State Park. Lewes is a delightful town and coastal area - perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Wonderful stay at this lovely bayside accommodation

This was one of our most memorable vacations ever! We loved the condo! It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved being so close to the bay and seeing beautiful sunsets every night. Also loved being so close to Lewes and Rehoboth. Our 5 year old had such a blast. We look forward to coming next year. Perfect getaway

The space was perfect for our family of 4. The pictures are good sample of what you will get but the amenities and local attractions were great for us, even with our toddler. The steps were curved so that was an adjustment for our little one but other than we didn't have any issues. There were 2 beach options that were very close.

Great Stay in Lewes

We had a great few days in Lewes. This home is bright and cheery. We walked and biked in Henlopen each day. What a treasure. The kitchen is pretty sparsely populated for those who hope to cook. Otherwise we were very comfortable and thankful that our pup was welcome.

Quiet, relaxing stay

It was a good vacation stay. Only thing for me at 76 years old were all the steps. I managed but probably couldn’t do it again. Only real complaint was that the deck railing on water side is weak and needs anchored so no one has an accident. Thx for letting us stay, especially with our dog! It was fun to have him with us.

HI Michael: So my question is: why didn't you call when you checked in so that we could send the cleaner back to the unit to make your stay more comfortable? What good does it do telling us after you already left? Yes, in the perfect world - all cleaning crews would do a fabulous job and there would be no issues - however, it is a thankless job that no one wants to do and the easiest thing to complain about.. But that being said, the lady that cleans that unit is a lovely individual who would have been more than happy to come back to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. I wish you the best where ever your travels may take you.
