Smoky Mtn Escapes is proud to preset LeConte View Pool Cabin!

NEW CONSTRUCTION 2023!
(3,600 Square Feet much larger than the typical 4 bedroom in the smokies)

This cabin has all the amenities starting with a private mountaintop setting and gorgeous year round views of Mt LaConte! If that was not enough the cabin has a large indoor pool (13 x 13), hot tub, pool table, classic arcade games, huge kitchen, two separate game rooms, amazing outdoor space three 30 x 10 foot decks, and a separate dedicated theatre.

Top all of this off with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. This allows twelve to sleep comfortably with four king beds a queen bunk and a queen futon!

This private setting cabin is less than 15 minutes from the main pkwy in downtown Gatlinburg. The famous Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts district is less than 5 minutes down the mountain. You can even get to the parkway in Pigeon Forge without accessing the spur in less than 25 minutes using back roads! Enjoy amazing local restaurants, art galleries, and craft stores!

Beautiful property but not clean

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so disappointing I feel obligated to warn others. Upon arrival at Rick’s vacation home, we encountered an unfortunate state of the home. One bedroom had candy wrappers on the floor, a used sucker stick, and visible dust balls scattered around and under the bed — clearly it hadn’t been cleaned in some time or properly. If that wasn’t bad enough, the other bedroom had a feces stain on the comforter.When I reached out to Rick to express my concerns, rather than taking accountability, he blamed me — claiming that because my parents arrived early and waited in the driveway, therefore his inspector wasn’t able to properly assess the home before our stay. As if someone waiting outside the property prevents someone else from inspecting the cleaning job on the inside of the house. His response was condescending, dismissive, and downright insulting. Rather than focusing on addressing the legitimate hygiene and cleanliness issues, he implied that we were somehow responsible.A cleaning crew was sent that day and the rooms were cleaned. However, the way Rick treated me, gaslighting me, acting as if I was at fault because the inspector supposedly couldn’t inspect due to a vehicle being in the driveway is what upsets me more than anything. As someone who owns and rents out a second property myself, I can confidently say: this is not how you treat your guests or maintain a rental.

Mountain Paradise

My family stayed at this beautiful house for Christmas. The house was everything we could have hoped for - clean, spacious, and lots of activities to keep everyone happy. We loved the hot tub on the deck and the kids played in both game rooms the entire stay. The view was amazing and the location was perfect - mostly secluded! We highly recommend this house for you next vacation. Thank you so much!

Amazing Views!

We took our family of 4 and the kid's grandparents with us for a nice October week. The views were AMAZING and the cabin was everything we needed to get away from the city and enjoy a break. There were plenty activities in the cabin and the kitchen was large enough for everyone to move around when it was time to cook and eat. We will DEFINITELY look to stay in this beautiful cabin on our next trip!

Amazing Property

Stunning is the word that comes to mind when you step inside this home! The views were amazing, the space nicely laid out, and the pool in the basement for the kids was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

This is a gorgeous cabin with all the amenities you need! The views are amazing and the location is perfect! Our family stayed 2 weeks here and loved every minute! You are secluded in the mountains but close enough to downtown gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Everytime we would venture out we couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin! Oh and we saw bears and a grey fox come right through our yard! A few things to mention, internet is slow, water pressure is slow but yet plenty enough that you’ll need! If this displeases you don’t stay on the mountains!! lol. You can really unwind and relax here, and that’s exactly what we did!

Beautiful!

This home is absolutely beautiful with stunning views and things for the whole family to enjoy! The pool, game room and hot tub were some of our favorites. Sadly the major downfall for us was the internet access. Internet speed was so slow that we were unable to enjoy the beautiful theatre room that our kids (5&7) were very excited about. We also had to rely on cell service for our phones because of the awful WiFi. One of the upstairs walk in showers was filthy, but otherwise the home was clean. Limited cookware which posed a challenge when making a big meal, but we were able to make it work. All in all the property was beautiful, clean, accommodating and had an accurate online description. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

Very nice

The cabin is just as nice as it looks in pictures. Beautiful view from balcony. Furniture and decor was very nice and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Theater room was fantastic , has surround sound. We had 10 people , one of which was a 7 yr old.we stayed 4 nights 5 days. Our family really enjoyed our vacation.

Beautiful view

Location is great if you want quiet mountain experience within short drive to Gatlinburg. House is nice. View from porches is absolutely beautiful. Saw bears on roads on way back from the store to the house. Fun for everyone to see cubs & mama bear 💕. Hot tub is nice. View under the stars was relaxing. We had 9 people; 5 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 2-9. Bunk beds were great to give cousins time together. Movie theater seats were comfortable. Kitchen set up was good for fixing meals and feeding large group at once. Beds were comfortable. Charcoal grill is like one found at a campsite. Firepit was relaxing to sit around under the stars. Game rooms were fun for both kids & adults. Swimming pool is smaller than expected. Water was cold (80°) not a heated pool. Pool door has a lock but door jam has problems so attention needs to be given to make sure door locks. No board games, only 1 puzzle. Internet connection is not stable. Hard to watch tv or a movie because of poor connection. Power went out late night. Through Google search found name of power company. Also found out the hard way that water is not available in power outage due to water pump needing electricity. Limited number of towels. No extra for swimming pool. Not enough pillow cases for extra pillows. Cleanliness is questionable as we found socks & other items by bedroom nightstand and bag of garbage under bathroom sink.

Week long oasis

I wish I could give this cabin 10 stars! I come to Gatlinburg twice a year and this is by far one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in. The drive up to the cabin is a breeze and the cabin has everything you can imagine. Thank you Rick for the hospitality and beautiful cabin home. We will be back ❤️

The PERFECT Home Away From Home

We're a large family of 10 that comes back to this area year after year. While we have loved all of our stays and trying new places, this may be our return spot for years to come. The view can not be beat...the reviews are accurate, pictures do not do it justice. Just awesome. If you cook, you will not be disappointed...everything you need to prepare and store during your stay is available with enough serving ware for your entire party. They have spared no expense for comfort also, from couches to mattresses. You can tell they have guests in mind and not just the rental fees. We were never bored between the hot tub, pool, theater, and game areas. The location is on point as well...minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg but the feeling of being alone in the hills. Just wonderful.

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely stay at this property. We stay at rentals often and this was by far the best one we have rented. The owner was great, the house was very well maintained, beds were comfortable and we were nearby everything we wanted to do!

Beautiful place, incredible views

We had a wonderful stay at this place for a week in November 2023. Some highlights: The home was clean, functional and easy to access. Check-in / check-out and communication with the host was a breeze. My kids absolutely loved the amenities (i.e., the pool). We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was spacious and fully-stocked. The place is quite close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, but feels like it's private and remote. And the view. The view is absolutely incredible. The pictures really can't do it full justice. In all, this was a great place which we would absolutely book again!

Very clean newer home with excellent views. Amenities were great and there was a lot to do. Wi-if exceeded expectations. The only complaint is that I feel like a week long stay in such a big house warrants more than two trash bags and one roll of paper towels, however, I know every property has different standards in this regard. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Awesome Cabin, incredible view!

We stayed 4 night's and wish we could have stayed for many more! Beautiful new build with lots of fun things to do on site and the view was breathtaking! Really a great place to stay in Gatlinburg/Pigeon forge area. Only very minor complaint was the internet was really poor, so the youtube tv often times would not work. However, this is due to the location up in the mountains and not anyones fault! We loved our stay and would love to visit again sometime.

Nice property with stunning views! Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. The pool table, basketball game and hot tub were the biggest hits. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

Never wanted to leave!

We had such a wonderful experience at the Leconte View Cabin, we never wanted to come home! There are so many nice amenities in this cabin, we literally never left through our entire stay! My teenagers and their grandparents loved the pool table and the Cornhole and my daughter swam in the pool for three days straight! Drinking my morning coffee on the deck while watching sunrise in the mountains, with that incredible view, was spectacular! The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly supplied with everything you need, and all the spaces are so inviting! All 10 of the members of our group said that we MUST stay here again sometime! Thank you for a fantastic relaxing long weekend! It exceeded all our expectations!

Wow wow wow!! This home and the views are absolutely breathtaking. This owner thought of everything....Fun things to do on every floor. The theatre room was so awesome. The home was clean and checkin process was seamless. The location was so convenient to town for even more fun. The grocery store was close by to get anything you need for staying in for all meals if you choose. However, We did sneak away to the city one evening for nice adult dinner. We will defiantly be back to this home!!

The view..Wow!

The cabin was spacious and close to everything we wanted to get to. Loved it! The view from the main floor and upper floor was absolutely amazing and so peaceful. Will definitely come back with family for another Gatlinburg visit.

Beautiful mountain home

Absolutely beautiful home away from home . All the luxuries of home and then some . Stunning views from any of the 3 levels. Plenty to do for all ages when outdoor fun downtime is needed. . Hot tub and pool a great mix to include basketball hoops for family tournament fun. Close to local fun and Smokey Mountains national park where we spotted 22 bears on cades cove loop. Definitely worth the trip !!. SMO rafting trip a must as well!

Cabin

Only two issue's water pressure and wi fi is slow. Both could be location. Way up in mountains but the view is worth it. I give it 100
