The space
Ideal for families or a couples’ retreat, this home offers beautiful sunsets, high-speed WiFi, cable TV, and a new hot tub. Located just outside Wisp Resort, you’ll be close to all the popular Deep Creek and Wisp attractions. Large picture windows in the great room frame stunning views of the surrounding ski slopes, and the patio deck is perfect for enjoying mountain sunsets. Guests also have access to a community catch-and-release fishing pond.

• Check-in is at 4 PM; check-out is at 10 AM.
• Sweet Escape has 4 bedrooms:
• Top floor: 1 queen bed with private half bath
• Main floor: 2 bedrooms with full beds, sharing a full bathroom
• Lower level: large living room, full bathroom with laundry, and 1 bedroom with two bunk beds (4 twin beds total)
• Be mindful of hidden fees at other vacation rentals—we do not charge linen or management fees.

Guest access
Sweet Escape is located in McHenry, Maryland, on the northern end of Deep Creek Lake—conveniently closer to Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and surrounding areas. One week prior to arrival, your host will send access instructions and driving directions.

We provide:
• Bed linens
• 6 sets of bath towels (additional sets for larger groups)
• 2 kitchen dish towels
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
• Hand soap in each bathroom
• A starter supply of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and occasionally laundry detergent and dryer sheets

Please bring your own beach towels, personal toiletries, and shower products (soap, shampoo, conditioner).
The home includes both a single-serve K-cup coffeemaker and a standard drip coffee maker. Please bring your own K-cups, coffee grounds, and condiments.
We recommend bringing 2–3 extra trash bags, as the housekeeper supplies only 1–2 large bags.

Beds will be made prior to your arrival. At checkout, please remove used linens and place them at the foot of the bed.

Snow removal is provided for the driveway; guests are responsible for shoveling walkways and patio areas during their stay. Shovels are provided.

Smoke alarms are located on every level. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited indoors. If the home smells of smoke (cigarettes or cannabis), the security deposit will be held until the property is fully deodorized.
