This is the only condo resort in Poipu that is directly on a sandy beach. Other condos are on a rocky shoreline or a long walk or drive to the beach. AC throughout condo, washer/dryer inside unit. New kitchen, bathrooms, furnishings/decor. No one above or below unit. Spectacular ocean views from inside the living room and master bedroom. Steps to the sand, 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Spacious 2-level condo with open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, remodeled kitchen and new furnishings. Everything you need is included in this condo - linens, bedding, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs/towels, boogie boards, beach umbrella, cooler and all resort amenities including on-site office, security, maintenance, housekeeping, pool, waterslide, jacuzzi, tennis, pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard courts, golf course, outdoor bbqs. The sunny south shore offers a perfect holiday all year long. The east shore (Kapaa) is very windy and the north shore (Princeville/Hanalei) is the rainy side and there are no condo resorts directly on the sand like the Kiahuna. Spend your vacation on the sunny side of the island!

This condo is in building 33. Twice as big as the 1-bed condos here with 1584 square feet/147 square meters. All 2-bedroom condos here are 2-levels and have the same floorplan. Entry, bedrooms, bathrooms, lanai downstairs - living, dining, kitchen, lanai upstairs. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO CLIMB STAIRS. We have a porta-crib (bring a crib sheet), booster seat and stair gates. ALL BOOKINGS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL for empty nights between reservations. 6-7 night minimum Jan-April, summer and holidays. Mandatory cleaning fee per management office of $375 included in quote - ADDITIONAL CLEAN FEES FOR STAYS MORE THAN 7 NIGHTS. $469 for 8-10 nts, $569 for11-13 nts, $598 for 14-16 nts. Includes checkout cleaning and various mid-week services.

ALL RATES LISTED do not include Hawaii resort tax of 17.962%. But tax is included in total when booking.

Host was super communicative and responsive. Condo was exactly as pictured and described. Sunrise cafe on the property is nice for coffee and breakfast. The location is super convenient to the beautiful beach, not so much to the pool. It was a lovely stay.

We already booked again for next year!! It is a perfect condo, set up, and location for kids. Walk for 3 minutes and your feet are in the sand with beautiful views from the porch. We also enjoyed the access (and short walk) to the pool.

Beautiful view and great for families

We loved our time here. It was great for a family spring break getaway. The view was perfect for morning coffee on the lanai. The condo was well stocked for cooking, was clean and had all the supplies needed for a day at the beach (chairs, boogie boards). The air conditioning and washer/dryer were a plus. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Views, Comfortable Stay

Four of us stayed here for 6 nights - 2 couples. The place was spacious enough we didn't get in each others way, the kitchen was well equipped and the view of the beach and the ocean from the upper lanai were great. Convenient to walk to several restaurants. The beach was steps away and provided a good place to swim. The provided beach chairs and boogie boards was also a nice treat.

The condo was just as shown in the pictures and description. Awesome location, with restaurants in the 2 hotels next door and in shopping area, within walking distance. Very comfy furniture for relaxing after a long day. The host was awesome, very kind and responsive, really appreciated the late checkout on our last day!!

Overall, we were very happy with our stay here! The unit is spacious, clean, and well-stocked. It's not oceanfront, but you can see and hear the beach in the distance from both the upper and lower balconies. We loved being able to walk to the beach as well as some shopping and restaurants. We were even able to walk to a beachfront luau at a neighboring resort. The only surprise to us was that the pool is located across the street from the resort and closes at 6:00 PM, so no night swimming or sending kids to swim on their own during the day.

Everything about it was excellent. Cleanest bnb we've ever stayed in, which says a lot. Very nicely furnished and decorated. Big kitchen. Location is fantastic for the view, close parking, and access to the beach/shops/restaurants. Prior to arrival, owner advised us of possible issue with ac, but also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even offering to change units if we desired but that was not needed at all. Temporary ac worked very well and we had no issues with comfort thru the day or night. Great communication from owner. LOVED this place. And the grounds are lovely.

Amazing time in paradise!

Kaihuna Plantation/this condo was in the perfect location next to the beach and with the pool close by. The condo worked well for our family, including our extended family who joined us for dinner a couple of times. It had all the amenities we needed. The condo contact was a pleasure to work with as well. Highly recommend!

Kiahuna paradise!

Everything was perfect in our Kiahuna Plantation condo. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed. The bathrooms were big and easily shared between 6 adults. The beds comfortable and we loved the two lanais! Having umbrella and chairs for the beach was key. We would definitely return to this area and property.

Kiahuna Resort

Traveled with my wife and two kids ages 9 and 14. We booked the unit for 8 nights. After 2 nights we moved to a different location. The unit itself has had some upgrades but still very dated. The beach is in very close proximity but the pool is not. At this price point I would expect more.

I'm sorry this condo did not meet your expectations. I had no idea you left after 2 nights. You never communicated to me that you were unhappy while you were there nor did I hear from you before or after the booking. You are the first guest to complain in 2 years of renting this condo. My top concern is that my guests have a great holiday and I would have been happy to make things better for you. Brand new furniture was purchased 2 years ago for every room, so I'm guessing the kitchen and bathrooms looked outdated to you - but you saw the photos on my listing which are very accurate. I also gave you a map of the resort that shows the pool, gym, courts are across the street on every communication with you. At $629/nt, that is still cheaper than 2 hotel rooms and considerably more space and conveniences like a fully stocked kitchen. I hope you communicate with the owner/manager if you are unhappy with your next rental. I'm always happy to work with my guests.

The perfect place

We want to book this exact place next year. The beds were comfortable and the unit has AC even though we did not have to use it the whole time. This unit has a great view and it’s a very short distance to the beach and main lawn. Good vibes all around. Kim was helpful and friendly every step of the way. Thank you!! Mahalo!!

Great location

Views of ocean were greatly enjoyed especially when eating meals on balcony. Lots of kids around for our 5 year old granddaughter to play with. Living space on upper floor with bathrooms and bedrooms on ground floor was a little bit of a challenge for frail 75 year old but we managed to get up and down ok. Were sad to leave our stay was perfect

Location and grounds are fine. We were assured that a washer and dryer were available on the unit. They were there,but broken . It is a long walk to the facility laundry room. The sleeping arrangements were very odd. The second bedroom had a queen and single bed. The person next to the wall had no light or nightstand and would need to crawl over the other sleeping partner to get up at night. .

This guest booked in October for a July stay. The washer/dryer in the condo broke just before her arrival. Unfortunately there were no washer/dryers in stock on the island and it takes 8 weeks to get new ones shipped to Kauai. She did one load of wash in the guest laundry facilities (separate building) and I gave her a refund that was more than what she spent on laundry. We added a queen bed to the hall bedroom so more guests could sleep in a bed - she could have moved the queen bed away from the wall if needed. Sorry for the washer/dryer inconvenience. A new one is being installed this month.

Loved this place!

Kiahuna Plantation is fantastic. The location is great for the South side of the Island. It is close to so many things! Shopping, groceries, restaurants, airport, tours. The grounds are beautiful! The beach is right around the corner, so quick and easy to get to! The check in was fast and easy. All of the staff here are friendly and helpful. Also, Kim was so helpful in accommodating us with a late check out since we had a late flight and nobody was checking in right after our departure. That was such a blessing! I highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to the south side of Kauai. I hope to get to stay again one day!

Kiahuna is still our favorite

My family and I have been coming to Kauai and staying at Kiahuna Plantation for over 20 years; we got married here too! When we go to other islands, or stay at other properties, someone inevitably exclaims at some point, “This is nice, but I wish we were on Kauai!” We have stayed in many units all over the Kiahuna property and found this one to be in the very top tier! This unit overlooks the pond and is steps from the lovely orchid garden. We found everything in our unit to be clean and comfortable. We really appreciate the additional seating in the living area for entertaining our friends for a BBQ. Host was outstanding and provides all the details and suggestions for a great stay. Oh, and the bin of snorkel gear, beach umbrella, and chairs was a nice convenience too. Mahalo for a lovely stay. We have put this unit on our favorites list for another time. Best…
