Farmhouse - A private sanctuary Hayride included with 3 or more nights

Farmhouse on 5 secluded acres, surrounded by over 1400 acres of privately owned land. The only neighbors you will see are the cows or horses that may wander by. Only a 30 min drive to Chattanooga and all the city has to offer. The screened back porch features a dining table and views of the property. Deer, turkey and an abundance of birds frequently visit the backyard. Roast marshmallows in the firepit and look at the stars away from city light pollution. The large yard has plenty of room to throw a baseball or play football. Cloudland Canyon, Pigeon Mountain are both close by with hiking trails and waterfalls for you to enjoy. McLemore Golf Course, with the best finishing hole in America is a short 20 min drive up lookout mountain. The interior of the home has been renovated with guest comfort and convenience in mind. Both bathrooms feature walk in showers. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook a large meal or make a nice cup of coffee. High speed WiFi is available to stream of all your devices. The large screen TV in the living room allows all seats to enjoy the show. Private tours of the neighboring farm can be arranged for little ones (or those young at heart) to see horses, cows, goats and chickens up close. Hayrides with views of lookout mountain available, included with 3 or more nights.

Family time

Your home was beautiful and so very peaceful. The only negative is that my husband would have loved a tv in the main suite,but we absolutely loved our stay. Thank you so much for making it possible.

Beautiful farmhouse

This is our second stay at this beautiful property. This time we spent most of our time just relaxing by the fire pit. So peaceful and relaxing! We will be back.

Chickamauga

So quiet and relaxing. We found the farm spotlessly clean, comfortable. Stars at night were amazing, the property was so beautiful. Easy access to hiking, Chattanooga and surrounding areas. Such beautiful country. Hosts very gracious - had a birthday treat for my husband! We will definitely come again.

Amazing stay

To start, the house was spotless and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen nicely equipped. The property was secluded and peaceful. We loved stargazing and sitting around the fire pit. The house wasn’t far from Chattanooga at all. Communication was excellent and prompt. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful farmhouse

We are a group of nurses who get together every couple of months for the weekend. We have stayed in many homes, but this was by far the best! We look for comfort and quiet in our stays, and this more than fit the bill. So many elegant touches, it was really classy. I can’t recommend it any higher. It gets an 11 /10 stars and we will be back many more times. The owners could not have been nicer or more patient with my questions. The only thing I could recommend to make the stay any more pleasant would be window coverings in the living areas. This was a really great experience for us.

Comfortable and peaceful

Beautiful property! Plenty of room for our family of five adults.Cloudland park only 20 minutes away. Great local BBQ at Lucky IQ only a short drive away. Owner was great to work with throughout our stay.

Perfect getaway

Wonderful home, private and peaceful. We enjoyed our time in your beautiful home. The screened porch was the best, we had all our meals outside and loved playing cards every night listening to the night sounds around us. The beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. The location was perfect to see Cloudland Canyon and Chattanooga. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Amazing long weekend

We had an amazing 4 night stay at FarmHouse while exploring NW Georgia. The house is very clean and wonderfully furnished. It has everything that you could need. The outdoor space of the property was quiet and beautiful. The host regularly checked in to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Our kids loved the time that we spent and are already asking to book here again next year.

Exceptional Hosts!

We had an incredible stay at this charming farmhouse! The owners were exceptional, going above and beyond by interacting with our family during the hay ride, which really added a personal and warm touch to the entire experience. The house itself was inviting, spacious, and perfect for our family and the occasion we were celebrating. From the cozy decor to the beautiful surroundings, every detail made our stay comfortable and memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our weekend. We were in town visiting family. I was very happy with our stay. The house was excellent! It felt new and clean. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet. I loved the back porch and there was plenty of room for kids to run around and play outside. Will definitely stay here again.

Cozy, Tucked Away Farmhouse

We truly enjoyed our time here and felt very much at home. Melissa & Jamey are wonderful, caring hosts who have all the best things in mind. Our kids loved going on the hayride- I thought it made our stay even better. The home has all the right touches and feels quite cozy. We all slept very well and were able to make breakfast and dinner easily with all the kitchen things provided. The tub in the master bath was a treat! I especially enjoyed that. The area around the outside of the house is a beautiful and peaceful place to explore. We liked the location(Chickamauga) and found a great local coffee/breakfast spot- Kingdom Coffee. Also loved Rembrandt’s Coffee in Chattanooga. We would love to come back and stay here again. One of the best places for sure that we’ve stayed on VRBO.

Love this Property!! Home away from Home!

First off, This was our second year booking this property. Even though the family reunion got canceled we were more excited to stay at the property. Its' always clean, It has everything that we need away from home. The owners of the property are very helpful, their communication was on point. Our family love the complimentary hayride. Prior to our visit the property owners always message us to see if there is anything that we may need while we are there. This is our go to property every year. This is our home away from home. Beautiful property

The house was very clean, up to date, and comfortable. There was no contact information sheet when we arrived (which would have been helpful) but Melissa was very responsive via VRBO messaging and did drop a sheet off to us.

Short stay in Chickamauga

We booked this property last minute and could not have been more pleased. The hostess communicated all details well in advance and was quick to realize that we needed a pack and play for our little one. The house was extremely clean with welcomed little extras. The property is beautiful. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to enjoy it.

Great Stay

Had a wonderful spring break vacation - great location close to Chattanooga and plenty of hiking. House was well appointed, had everything we needed, and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Fire pit was fun and we enjoyed watching the wildlife at the adjacent lake.

We retired 4 years ago from working in the Atlanta area and wanted to live a rural lifestyle. Our property had 2 homes on it, which gave us the perfect opportunity to share this beautiful place with others. You can not see our residence (or any other neighbors) from the VRBO but we are close enough to bring you a cup of sugar, some farm fresh eggs or anything else you may have forgotten.

We love this area because it is so close to Chattanooga, unlimited outdoor activities, and excellent local eateries and still so much natural land. Traffic is getting stuck behind a tractor or waiting for wildlife to cross the road.
