We live just down the road and work on the property in our spare time. We and our team handle the maintenance and management with as little interruption to guests as possible. Routine outdoor maintenance for the 40 acre property is typically scheduled after 10am for lawn, pond, hot tub, firewood, etc. Hot tub maintenance is communicated with guests in advance.

We are in a rural location with plenty of space between neighbors. Even with space, sound can travel. We ask that you be considerate especially after 10pm. While The Retreat is set back from the road by over 300ft, you can still hear some light traffic noise from the front porch occasionally. Across the driveway is a separate short term rental, The Barn on Evergreen Pond, another amazing property by Gatheryng. The only shared amenities are the sport court, the fishing dock behind the sports court, and the trash cans by the driveway.

Evergreen Retreat is set off from the road, with a long driveway leading to a large parking area that can easily fit 10-15 cars. The long driveway is shared with the property across the driveway, The Barn on Evergreen Pond, another amazing property by Gatheryng. Both properties have separate parking for about 15 cars. If your event anticipates more than 12-15 cars, you'll likely need to rent both properties for your event.

The Retreat shares a driveway with a separate short term rental next door, The Barn on Evergreen Pond, also managed by Gatheryng. Each property has its own parking (about 15 cars each) and its own amenities. The two properties only share the sports court, the fishing dock on the back pond (behind the sports court & furthest from both properties,) and the trash cans by the driveway. We live just down the road and manage your guest experience as if you are family. You can interact with us as much or as little as you want.

Displayed rates on this website include up to 10 ppl. Add'l: $15/night, which is calculated based on the guest number you input into your inquiry. We include a damage waiver for each stay to cover possible damage up to $500.

We love dogs! Pls let us know if you are traveling with your dog(s). Our pet fee is $150 FOR ONE DOG. ADDITIONAL DOGS ARE ADD'L FEES. PLS MESSAGE US FOR DETAILS.

Special gatherings and day guests allowed. You must discuss with us in advance regarding any hosting plans you have. Event fees may be applicable. Renting this property together with the adjacent property, The Barn on Evergreen Pond, will allow private space for events & sleeping for about 35.
