As others have said, this house is even more impressive in person than online photos. The owner's bedroom on the upper level is massive with a huge closet! You could easily set up a port-a-crib in it and then there are two couches that really would easily serve as beds and could sleep teens also. So in just the one room, you could sleep parents, two kids and an infant, if needed. We loved having our privacy however from the rest of our family. The view from the shower/bath combo is unbeatable!
The main level is great for big groups and entertaining. The kitchen is large and open and easily accommodates 6 people working in it comfortably. The pantry/washer dryer/mudroom area is a gem! Ideal for skiers, but it was also great for our extended family in the summer as it gave us lots of room for all our food that didn't need to be refrigerated. The owner stocks the cabinets well with spices, olive oil, etc. and it's nice that you can just leave your extra canned goods and jars that haven't been opened for the next guests. The fridge had lots of mustard ketchup, mayo, etc. The only suggestion is there is a need for a medium sized saucepan and a large skillet. The only choice was a huge wok. I know items in a rental get "legs", so just a heads up that they've walked. Other than that the kitchen is well-stocked. Large stand mixer, blender, toaster, coffee maker, hot tea maker etc. Also, Blair is great at communicating with you if you have any questions!
The views from the main level are phenomenal! You can see the lifts running taking the mountain bikes up the mountain. Driving you are just 3 minutes to the mountain base and 6 minutes to the historic downtown area. There aren't really restaurants in the mountain base area, so it's nice it's not a long drive into downtown. There is a free shuttle at the end of the road, (maybe 3/10 mile walk) but we never took it.
After the main level there are two more lower levels. In the lower level there are two bedrooms that share a nice Jack and Jill bathroom with tub/shower combo. Also two more living areas with large TV. This floor can sleep a lot of people! If you've got teens that are happy to sleep on futons and couches, this would be the level for them. The deck has a hammock and I think 6 Adornandack chairs. The lowest level (walkout basement level) has two bunk bed sets. Each one has a double on bottom and single on top. I could go on, but out of room! You'll love this home!
