Twin Palms boasts a fully equipped luxury kitchen with stainless steel appliances, two refrigerators, a blender, crock pot, drip coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, ice maker, and more. The home also includes a high chair, baby gate, crib, elevator for elderly and handicap use, ceiling fans, TVs in all bedrooms, wifi/cable, iron/ironing board, full-size washer and dryer, and the ability to charge your electric vehicles. Multiple screened-in porches, covered parking, and an outside shower with hot and cold water are just some of the many additional amenities provided.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:1) Location was perfect! Right on the beach with semi-private beach access. Gated community meant the beach was not crowded. Grocery stores and restaurants were plentiful and close.2) Kitchen was very well equipped, even though items were a bit unorganized and scattered. Second refrigerator was a big bonus.3) House layout was great and seating was plentiful.4) Plenty of linens provided.5) Rental company was quick to respond to issues.6) Outdoor hot/cold shower was a plus.Cons:1) No hot water in kitchen when we arrived. After speaking to rental company with no success, we finally reset a contraption of some kind under the sink and hot water was restored. Seems housekeeping should have noticed no hot water when they cleaned....2) One of the showers on the main floor did not even work; housekeeping should have noticed if they cleaned....3) House needs a deep-clean. Intake vent was filthy, walls need cleaning in spots, freezer had not been wiped out, long dark hairs on couch, piles of sand on screened porch and piles on the threshold (we swept up so we didn't track inside).4) We rented this house and paid the first deposit before the rental company sent us an email that their software was faulty and the cost was just less than double what we reserved at. They were adamant that it was not their fault and we could either cancel or pay up. Since we had already told our adult children we had the house and all 4 of them had taken off work, we paid up. I would advise making reservations directly with the company (call them, don't reserve online) and have them guarantee their pricing.

Wonderful Stay!

Easy stay in a very convenient house. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom. We were traveling with two elderly people, so the elevator and walk-in showers upstairs were perfect. They loved being able to relax on the screened-in porch and gaze at the ocean. We will be back!

Overall, a nice place to vacation

Upon first glance, the home was updated but still an older home. Elevator was a great help getting luggage moved around. While there was a smaller portable crib available, we couldn't find the highchair. We didn't ask about the highchair since we travel with a high chair. Everyone in the house was not a fan of the beds ( didn't think they were comfortable) especially the pillows. The Outdoor SCREENED porch was a major plus since bugs were definitely out while we were there in mid to late April. We did have a contractor come on the 3rd day of our stay but we were notified before hand. However, the contractor showed up on day 6 of our stay, unannounced. He then sat in his van outside our house for 3 hours. The van was kinda creepy, little to no windows, and all the markings were falling off/illegible. Made us a little uneasy. Neighborhood felt very safe though other than the unannounced visit from the "contractor". Hot water took a while to get to the faucets, average 2-3 minutes. Which was inconvenient when trying to do dishes or bathe our children. The kitchen did have quite a bit of appliances including a crockpot for use. Made it very easy since we ate in a lot . Also had 2 coffee makers. There is a French door fridge freezer in the kitchen and a large refrigerator just off the kitchen for drinks! The house also had direct beach access shared with 1 other house. very private and convenient. Wish the doors had keypads instead of keys. They did accommodate early check in.

Could be exceptional - But

The house itself is really nice. It is comfortable, plenty of room, and every bedroom had an en-suite bath. Great views with terrific beach access. However we encountered two negatives. First, there was a yellow pill on the floor in the dining room that our two year old toddler found and fortunately he didn’t put it in his mouth. It wasn’t from our group but we identified it as a strong barbiturate, which could have really harmed him - so cleanliness is an issue. And, secondly, given the price point we were shock at how much stuff we needed to buy or bring. Hair dryer, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, soap in the bathrooms, kitchen soap, garbage bags, etc, etc, etc. we do a number of high-end properties every year and usually this stuff is supplied as well as welcome baskets with wine or coffee or some treats. So this is why the lower rating
