Elk Rapids Family Vacation Home

Our family vacation home is located 5 minutes north of Elk Rapids in a quiet sub-division, with partial views of Lake Michigan. Our home is perfect for family gatherings, with ample sleeping and shared space.

The highlight of our home is a large, west-facing deck, where you will have amazing views of northern Michigan sunsets as the sun dips below the lake and the stars begin to shine. With a second, lower level deck we have ample room for family meals after a long day at the beach. There is ample outdoor space for playing outdoor yard games, with a private dock to enjoy as well. Please note: dock may not be used for boat parking.

Inside the house, you will find two main shared spaces. On the main level, a fully open kitchen, dining room, and living room with views of Lake Michigan. In the basement, you will find a custom built wet bar and entertaining area that includes a full size billiards table.

When it's time to tuck away for the night, you will find 5 distinct sleeping areas:
1) Main level: master bedroom with queen bed and en suite
2) Upstairs: private bedroom with a queen bed
3) Upstairs: private bedroom with a full/twin bunk bed
4) Upstairs: open lofted space for guest provided air mattress
5) Downstairs: 4 unique cots that pull down from the wall for sleeping (and can be put up during the day)

In the house, we have 4 bathrooms:
1) Main level: Master bedroom en suite, with shower
2) Main level: half bath
3) Upstairs: Full bathroom with shower and bathtub
4) Downstairs: Full bathroom with shower

The house two laundry areas (one in the master bedroom, one in the basement) and two full fridges.

There is a one car garage. The driveway can fit up to 4 additional vehicles and is long enough for average sized boats. Please do not park on the street.

Additionally, the house has high speed internet and an open air office space on the upper level.
