Take a break and unwind at this peaceful farm just minutes from town. You can relax under the stars and listen to the frogs croaking on the pond or the whip-poor-will’s calling in the distance.
The space
With a large front and back yard, there is plenty of space for kids to run and play.
Guest access
Guest will be able to access the main yard surrounding the home.

There are barns and other farming structures on the property that we respectfully request that guests not access unless invited by the property owner.

We absolutely loved the property. It was perfect for our family to stay and visit the ark encounter. We loved that there are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, it made it easy for my mother in law to have a space to sleep and stairs are hard on her. Peaceful and beautiful views and we loved the farm setting and how close it was to amenities. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great vacation spot

The Old Farmhouse was a perfect spot for our family vacation. Easily fit our group of 3 adults and 4 kids. The host provided everything we could need for our 5 night stay. Highly recommend:)

Beautiful Setting

We booked this property because we were going yo the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. It was conveniently located to both. It is a quiet country setting with all the beautiful sounds that you associate with the country. Close to restaurants though too. We’d definitely stay again.

Great place for (2) families

We loved this place. It was a nice, cozy, clean home in a BEAUTIFUL area. loved the rolling hills, wildlife and serenity of the place. Had everything we needed along with a couple of extras that helped us during our visit. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful, quiet farm stay!

What an idyllic setting! The perfect retreat to return to after the hustle and bustle of The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum each day. Laura was a great host and the old farmhouse was perfect for our family. The kids enjoyed the upstairs room and the yard.

Very peaceful. My kids didn't want to leave. It's a beautiful quiet place with all the necessities close by. Place was very clean and owners provided everything. Excellent place and host.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay in the quiet country. Beautiful views. The beds were comfortable, and the house was more roomy than the pictures. We were much more comfortable than a hotel.

The ark

We enjoyed our stay in the old farm house. Clean and cute.Laura smith was kind and thoughtful. She warned us about the hundred year storm and would have aloud us to use her homes basement for tornado safety.

This was a beautiful stay. Laura was extremely responsive to all of our needs and the house was perfect. It’s “farmhouse” charm was lovely. It was also very clean and provided everything we needed for our weekend. We will be back!

The Farmhouse was in a beautiful location and adequately met our needs. Comfortable beds for all 9 of us. Not enough towels for kitchen and bath.

Great location for Ark and any Cincinnati activities. Beautiful home with amazing host. Extremely clean. Remote and quiet. Owner provides excellent travel directions and check in information. Walmart 5 minutes away. Amazing spot to return to after a long day of site seeing.

Beautiful

First time in this area of the country and it did not disappoint. Beautiful property with million dollar views and a yard for the kids to play in. Would definitely recommend this if your looking for something homey, and close enough to run to town for food or a Walmart run. :)
