Enjoyable stay

The property is a beautifully landscaped house in a quiet location. Nicely equipped kitchen and large living room. Both bedrooms were equally nice, with spacious bathrooms. The deck by the pond and secluded location made it a relaxing stay. We appreciated the double carport right in front of the house on the day it rained. We would definitely enjoy staying there again.

Family Visit

My husband and I came down to visit our kids who both attend Elon. What a beautiful location and a beautiful house. So incredibly inviting to wake up every morning and look out over the pond. We would 100% love to come back again.

Excellent experience!

This was our first experience using VRBO and we couldn’t be happier. The house was very clean. The property was quiet, scenic, and relaxing. The owners responded to our questions very quickly and were very kind. If we visit NC again, we would be very excited to return to the lodge!

Great family visit!

We have family in Elon so this location is perfect. Clint was very responsive and great to work with. The house is very clean and comfortable. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back, and will always look to see if this property is available for future visits.

The house is set in a very quiet, peaceful bamboo forest with a small pond, but located within minutes to stores and restaurants. Great getaway, but close to all the amenities!

Perfect hideaway!

Our family group loved staying here. The open floor plan made it easy to feel connected. The furniture was all comfortable. Everyone enjoyed fishing in the pond. There are other properties around the pond but they are wonderfully spaced and we still ended up feeling like we had complete privacy. We spent 90% of our time on the deck, which was absolutely lovely, with not one mosquito. The home, the deck, and surrounding property were all immaculately clean. All of that, and we were still very close to plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc. If you're looking for a laid back vacation to connect with family and/or friends (where you ACTUALLY get to rest and relax) this is the spot!

Private Retreat just off I-40

What a great find. The house easily hosted a graduation party for about 20. Quiet, private setting, fully equipped kitchen, entertainment system, decorative lighting and a huge furnished deck with fireplace. Plenty of good spots for family photos.

Relaxation for Spring Break

Clint and Rebecca were fantastic hosts. The house was exactly as advertised and is an oasis amidst easy access to interstate, great food, and shopping. For us, it offered the chance to spend some time with my wife’s family who live in the area for the first time in a year. We enjoyed an outdoor barbecue with laughter and fellowship and topped it off with s’mores made over the outdoor fireplace. I couldn’t have asked for a better week. Thanks so much Clint and Rebecca for this wonderful gift.
