The Neighborhood:
Our lakefront fourplex is located in a quiet residential pocket of the Gull Point neighborhood, right on the shores of Gull Lake and just three doors down from Ernie’s on Gull Lake—a popular spot for lakeside dining, live music, drinks, and volleyball.
This area offers the perfect balance of peaceful relaxation and lively summer energy. During the warmer months, you’ll likely hear boat traffic on the water and occasionally music drifting from Ernie’s. Many guests enjoy the festive, vacation-style atmosphere—it’s part of what makes this area so special.
The neighborhood is also close to nature trails, public beaches, and downtown Brainerd, which is just a short drive away and offers coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and seasonal events. Whether you're boating, exploring, or just kicking back by the water, you'll find that Gull Point offers both serenity and access to the best of lake life.
Getting Around:
Guests staying at our lakefront fourplex have several convenient ways to explore Gull Lake and the surrounding Brainerd Lakes area.
While ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be limited in this region, we highly recommend Ole’s Shuttle Service as a dependable and professional transportation option. Ole’s offers airport transfers and local rides to restaurants, events, and nearby towns. You can learn more or book a ride by visiting olesshuttleservice.com.
For guests looking to explore on their own, we offer multiple on-site rental options, all subject to availability:
Pontoon Rental: A weathered but reliable pontoon is available for rent daily from 8 AM to 7 PM. It's perfect for cruising the lake, fishing, or visiting lakeside establishments.
E-Bike Rentals: Our electric bikes are a great way to ride the lake roads and trails or head into town for a bite to eat.
Boat Lift Rental: We also offer a 3,000 lb boat lift, suitable for most mid-sized boats (note: not suitable for pontoons), available for guests or the public to rent.
Current pricing and availability for all rentals can be found on our website, which is provided after booking. These rentals are first-come, first-served, and add a convenient and exciting way to enjoy Gull Lake without needing to haul your own gear.
If you’re bringing your own boat, you’re welcome to tie up to the dock free of charge. Each unit is allocated one space on our shared dock, which is already installed for the 2025 season. From there, you can enjoy easy access to the lake, visit neighboring beaches, or boat over to lakeside restaurants like Ernie’s on Gull Lake, just three doors down.
For trailer parking, please note that on-site space is limited per city regulations. We recommend parking your trailer at the nearby Government Point Boat Launch, which offers affordable and secure parking. Be sure to check posted signage for current rates.
Whether you're biking, boating, shuttling, or walking, our location offers easy access to all the best that Gull Lake has to offer.
Other Things to Note:
We welcome guests with all types of plans—whether you’re here to relax, fish, golf, or gather with friends around a fire. Whatever brings you to the lake, we ask that you be respectful and considerate of other guests during your stay.
🐾 Pet Policy
If you’re bringing a pet, please include it as an additional HUMAN guest when making your reservation, as this is how the pet fee is applied. Pets must be leashed at all times for everyone’s safety and comfort, including children, and to avoid accidents near the water.
🔥 Firewood Reminder
A shared fire pit is available for guest use between the fourplex and the lake—please bring your own firewood if you plan to enjoy it.
🚤 Dock Access
The docks are already installed for the 2025 season. Each unit includes one free tie-up space for your boat. Feel free to dock overnight while you explore Gull Lake or visit lakeside venues like Ernie’s, just a short walk or boat ride away.
🧊 Seasonal Dock Removal Notice
Please note that dock installation and removal are weather-dependent and handled by a professional service. Typically, docks remain in place from late spring through early fall. As winter approaches and ice forms, docks are removed to preserve equipment and ensure guest safety. The exact timing may vary slightly each year.
