Quick weekend getaway with grandkids

This property worked perfect for our quick weekend getaway with the Houston grandkids. Easy walk through the trees to the Monte Verde lake. They enjoyed being on the deck and watching the deer, especially the cool air. We definitely will stay again

Family ski trip

Great place, had everything we needed, it was clean with plenty of room for 4. Good location to the ski lifts. Would definitely stay again.

Comfy mountain getaway

Nice property with all the amenities for r&r in Angel Fire. We loved the proximity to fishing and hiking and enjoyed the deck and grill nightly.

Cozy little cabin

This property was great! Perfect size for a family of four. Cozy, clean, warm and a great location. 5-7 minutes to skiing. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. Would definitely stay there again!

The cabin was clean and deck was great. There was plenty of room inside and the third bathroom was a plus. The cabin was very well stocked with all the essentials plus. I didn’t realize there were stairs either up or down to all the bedrooms and bathrooms. It may have been listed and my mistake if not then I would explain that in the description. We had a person with a bad back and the stairs made it difficult. We had our dogs with us and I was very grateful that the deck was fenced and gated so my little one didn’t have to be on a leash the whole time. Location to the lake is great for that morning lake walk. We felt completely at home and would definitely return.

Relaxing and beautiful!

I booked this cabin for my parents and they loved their stay. The house was wonderful! They enjoyed every view they never could decide which deck to sit out on. The wildlife was beautiful to see! They had a relaxing time and enjoyed fishing all around the angel fire and red river area.

Angel Fire getaway

Cute cabin with close proximity to market and walking distance to the lake. The TV was difficult to figure out, but eventually we did. We would recommend this cabin to family.

Great getaway location

This place was in a beautiful location, had everything we needed, and had plenty of space for a family of 6. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board is because of the cobwebs throughout the house. My wife had to go around and knock down these webs that had both dead and living spiders. Overall it was a relaxing and fun stay. I would definitely recommend this house to any family wanting to have a great stay in the woods.

Nice getaway

The area is beautiful but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for being outdoors. We still got a couple short hikes in. The house was perfect for what we needed. The only downside was that it is pet friendly which I am totally fine but the bathroom rugs were covered in pet and human hair. I en

Communication glitch

No info (Wi-Fi,etc) at property, unable to access online guide, unable to reach property manager, tv remotes did not work. Surprise walk-in (no knock, unlocked & walked in) by property care team member - property itself was fine, but communication was lacking

Quiet fall getaway

We booked this cabin for a quiet fall break getaway without the kids. The cozy fireplace (lots of firewood was provided, thank you!) and cute retro bluetooth stereo were a great addition to the cold October nights. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils & supplies, which made it easy to prepare our meals. We also enjoyed taking a stroll around nearby Monte Verde Lake where we saw a mule deer doe and fawn. The cabin was really too big for us, but it would be great for a family, with plenty of spaces for everyone to hangout. The 3 bedrooms are quite roomy and having 3 full bathrooms is a bonus. It is a nice cabin with all the amenities you will need while on vacation. Kristina, the property manager, was easy to communicate with and very prompt in responding. Side note: We discovered a cool local brewery in Eagle Nest (Comanche Creek Brewery) that has an outdoor area (dog friendly) and it has a spectacular view!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time in this beautiful cabin! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I also liked the layout of the house. My teens could watch movies downstairs while my husband and I went to bed upstairs! The cabin is near a small lake we just down the road. I love being surrounded by trees and a short drive from the town. There are small grocery stores, restaurants and shopping there. I have no cons. Hopefully, we will be back very soon!
