Spacious Rural Home Near I-70 & Vista View Events

We welcome you to stay at Rifle Refuge, a spacious rural home with breathtaking panoramic views, when visiting Western Colorado!

Situated on over three acres between Rifle and Silt, this five bedroom, 3.5 bath rural retreat is surrounded by open space and beautiful views of multiple mountain ranges!

The master bedroom features a king bed and en suite bathroom with double sinks, a large walk in shower, and a jacuzzi tub. A second guest room has a queen bed and en suite bathroom.

The third and four bedrooms share a Jack and Jill style bathroom, with both bedrooms to include twin XL over queen bunk beds and desks. Please note that one of the bottom bunks and one of the top bunks are futon mattresses rather than traditional mattresses. The fifth bedroom has a double / full sized bed.

The well equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and stone countertops and has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The dining table seats ten with additional seating at the bar.

Located approximately six miles from the popular Vista View Events venue, it is the perfect home base when you are in town celebrating a special occasion. Alternatively, a 3.5 mile drive to I-70 (Silt) will find you centrally located among the many activities of Glenwood Springs, Rifle and Grand Junction. State parks, hot springs, skiing and wineries are all only a short drive away.

AMENITY LIMITATIONS: • This home does not have central air conditioning. However, there is a portable air conditioning unit in the common area and two window air conditioning units located on the bedroom side of the home as well as ceiling fans in the living room and two of the bedrooms, including the master. • This home's ice maker is not functional. • Guests will not have access to the garage.

Other things to note
• There is an apartment above the home's garage that is occupied by long term tenants. Guests will have no shared entrances or spaces with that rental unit.
• A limited stock of basic guest supplies is provided to start off your stay, including coffee filters, non-dairy creamer, salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar, food storage wrap, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent. At least one bath towel per guest is also provided.
• We have a zero tolerance smoking policy, and guests will be charged accordingly (see House rules).
• We abide strictly by the “Cancellation policy” (including road closures and / or inclement weather) and “House rules” (including “Additional rules”) which can be found at the bottom of the listing. They are reiterated during the booking process (on the “Confirm and pay” page), at which time you are confirming that you agree to the terms. Please review them carefully!

House Rules:
• Excessive cleaning will be charged at a rate up to $50 an hour. Blood or badly stained linens (including but not limited to bed sheets, mattress pads / protectors, etc.) is an automatic charge of up to $150 per item. Confetti and party decor clean up is an automatic charge of $60. Moving furniture is an automatic charge of $120.
• Violations of VRBO's House Rules can jeopardize our short term rental permit, disrupt cleaning and maintenance schedules, cause extra wear and tear and, worst of all, lessen future guest experiences and will be charged as follows: • unauthorized guests, up to $50 per person, per night; • unauthorized pets, up to $100 per pet, per night; • unapproved early check ins and late check outs, $50 per hour; • late checks outs after 1pm, an additional night’s stay; • parties or events, up to $2,500 with any extra cleaning and damages being charged separately; smoking of any kind, up to $1,000.
