- Hog Back Pizza: wood fired pizza and calzones. Great outdoor seating!
- 88 Grill: American food. Great burgers and salads. Live music on some weekend nights!

Lots of additional dining and activities a short drive away:
- Ski Sunlight Mountain Resort: 25 miles
- Soak, play and dine in Glenwood Springs: 13 miles

This was a very clean and cozy home. I would recommend it to all my friends. The kitchen had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable as well. They were very accommodating with our dogs and we were so glad that they could be with us. We enjoyed the town of New Castle and we loved walking to the local breakfast place the Lazy Bear. The Mexican restaurant was also great called Hacienda San Miguel. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Spot for Our Annual Girls’ Getaway!Once a year, three of my longtime besties and I get together for our annual trip, and this little house was such a fun home base! With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and big picture windows, there was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out and relax. It’s dog-friendly too, which is a huge plus—just keep in mind that the backyard isn’t fenced. For anyone who loves to cook, the kitchen is a great size and easy to maneuver. And the dining table? PERFECT for puzzles, games, long conversations, and lots of laughs. The beds were soft and comfy, although I highly recommend letting the kids have the top bunk. 🤣We never turned on the TV, but the Wi-Fi worked great! And then there was our nightly visitor…a young brown bear who stopped by each evening to investigate the trash can. Yes, of course one of us actually stayed up just to wait for him. Definitely an unexpected and memorable part of the trip! The location was fantastic, and the neighborhood was wonderfully quiet. We especially loved how walkable New Castle was. Main Street is just a block away, with several good places to eat, a DIY pottery studio, local park, yoga studio, library, and more.It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the area—about 35 minutes to Rifle Falls State Park and 15 minutes to Glenwood Springs and the Yampah Vapor Caves.Great location, comfortable house, fun little town, and lots of wonderful memories.

Our son and his family live in New Castle, so this property was perfect for our visit from Pennsylvania. The home is nicely laid out and the amenities provided went above and beyond some other properties we have stsyed at. We will certainly consider staying there again.

We always look to see what the sleeping accommodations are and the beds were comfortable and the right amount for our trip. So many places do not allow for pets and our daughter was able to bring their dog. We found plenty of activities to fill our time while on this vacation.

This adorable property has my favorite thing -a moss rock fireplace. Such a functional space with 3 bedrooms and two baths. Great outdoor space and open concept living area. Beautifully updated. Great location for golfing at Lakota Links. Loved being able to walk to New Castle shops/restaurants. Owners have thought of everything. Truly a gem!
