Clean 1 BR in quiet neighborhood

It was clean and had the basic essentials. On-street parking was never an issue. It does list a hot tub but we never found it.

Iffy area of KC

The host was wonderful, accomodating and very easy to work with. Let me preface my review with I am not familiar with the neighborhoods of Kansas City. When we arrived to the property there was graffiti tagging on the building sign that was very negative. Not a great first impression. The hallway to the unit had a very strong cat urine and pot smell as we walked in. The unit itself was very cute and super clean. The bed was smaller than expected and that may be on me for not reading the listing better, but when we went to bed we found the mattress to be super hard and uncomfortable. It was so hard neither of us slept much and tossed and turned. The next morning my husband ventured out to find somewhere to get coffee creamer and something for breakfast and all he found was a sketchy market in the neighborhood. He felt unsafe walking back to the unit. If you are specifically looking for that location and know what to expect from the area, it is a cute, clean place to stay with an uncomfortable bed.

Thank you Nicole for staying with us and for the review. I'm sorry for your experience and I am following up on the common spaces in the building with building management. Not the impression I want a guest to encounter. Your concerns are important to me and I take them seriously. I will make changes to the bedding situation.
