Welcome to Starfish Villa,
Nested in the hills of one of the quietest parts of Cruz Bay. Offers a peaceful and private place to stay and relax. Minutes from Caneel Bay (8 min), Honeymoon Bay (8 min), Hawksnest (11 min) , Trunk Bay (14 min), Cinnamon Bay (16 min) beaches, and 18 min to Maho Bay. Restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops of Cruz Bay downtown area are just 3-5 min away. This space is excellent for couples and families with kids.
You can start your day with a great cup of coffee on the large patio overlooking the lush valley, before heading out to explore all this Caribbean paradise has to offer. Snorkel and chase sea turtles and sting rays at the wonderful coral reefs. Explore downtown Cruz Bay area, lively with bars and restaurants. End your day with a glass of wine at the villa patio, planning your next day adventure, while watching the night sky and the falling stars.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals, and the BBQ on the patio can accommodate outside cooking. Get a great nights sleep enjoying the fresh air and the cool breeze of the valley.
This property can accommodate up to 6 adults with 1 queen bed in the first bedroom, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room.
On-street parking is located on top of the stairs leading to the villa. There are couple of grocery stores nearby, and a few coffee shops in downtown Cruz Bay to enjoy during the day.

Ehhh…

The house was kind of dirty. Dust along the windows, some windows didn't even have blinds. The fridge didn't work at all but I didn't know that until the house manager messaged me apologizing about the fridge after I had arrived. She brought over a tiny mini fridge to alleviate the situation but it was too small to even hold a carton of eggs or a gallon of milk. Theres a gap between the outside door and the floor that allows lizards and bugs to enter freely. One small AC for the whole House which surprisingly did a decent job. Fans in the bedroom which were dirty. Remotes to the tv did not work at all. I just bit my tongue during the stay as I was in town for a family funeral, but I really would not refer this place to anyone or come Back and stay. I cleaned the first night I arrived so I'm not really sure why I paid a cleaning fee as I left the place cleaner than I found it.

Not what was expected :(

The place was off the beaten path, but that is our fault for not realizing how unaccessible things are from this location without car. Everything else about the stay was pretty unacceptable for a rental. There is a noticeable odor as soon as you walk into the villa, and flies in every room. All plates and utensils had black gunk on them, and all of the drawers and cabinets were unorganized and cluttered with old clothes and used products. We spent the first night disinfecting everything and reorganizing. We had several other issues including: tv remotes did not work, little to no hot water, the last day there was no water at all, the fridge did not work very well, and there was little propane for the oven or the bbq. There were two other propane tanks that we tried to use but they were empty as well. The property manager on the island was extremely nice and understanding and tried to be as helpful as possible. She fixed issues within her ability quickly. The owner however, was difficult to get in touch with, and once we were able to talk to him he was extremely defensive and not understanding. From our understanding this villa is under new ownership, but as things are now we would NOT recommend this place to anyone!
