Stunning house, great location

Would highly recommend staying at this absolutely stunning house! It is such a great location, right across from great cafes and restaurants and on the north side which is more quiet and secluded but still so close to town. The owners helped us when villa oso cancelled on us last minute and were extremely helpful and generous! They saved the day for our wedding and our friends loved staying here. We would love to come back!

Best Villa Stay We Have Ever Had

This place is simply stunning. The owners were easy to deal with. Theo the property manager was fantastic and super helpful and the location is away from the buzz of town but close enough for a short walk:This was by far our favorite ever villa stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot in Sayulita.Thank you!!!!

Family vacation

A much needed family vacation from ages 1 to 62. Casa Ilusion was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of room for everybody. Can’t explain how amazing it is falling asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing into the beach. So close to downtown. We rented golf carts but we found ourselves walking to town just as much. This house had everything we needed and the Property Manager Theo was quick to respond to our questions. Fidalina kept the house spotless and the grounds and the pool looked pristine everyday. Highly recommend for a large family or a large group of friends. Loves loved loved

Glorious Sayulita Property

Casa Illusion is perfecto! Theo and the local team of daily gardener and housekeeper were so accommodating and kind. Casita is marvelous and was used often for massage. Location/gated seclusion and quiet street made it a lovely experience for our family. Had a terrific photo shot by an amazing local/international photographer. We loved every day here. Cheers!

Amazing Vacation

I can’t rave enough about Casa Illusion! The house is beautiful with the most stunning ocean views. We could hear the waves every night as we fell asleep. The setup of the house is perfect for multiple families and/or friends. We have young littles (4,2,1) and the main floor room/family suite was so great for us. My kids loved being able to wake up and jump in the pool or walk right out to the beach. The location is fantastic! You are close enough to town to walk but also not right in the middle of everything which is great because it’s quieter/not as busy. The house is stocked with everything you can think of—all kitchen items, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and so much more. There wasn’t anything I felt we needed while we stayed there. Fidelina and Ybiz are great and do a fantastic job every day. We also had Zuli out to cook 3 meals for us and that was worth every penny (also pretty inexpensive). The lattes and avocado toast are excellent from Bonito across the street. Plenty of options close by for a drink or massage. We did rent a golf cart but didn’t use it very much due to the excellent location of the house. Theo the house manager is easy to chat with and super helpful with anything you need or any questions you may have. We would come back here in a heart beat! One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at and it was an awesome family vacation! Thank you Theo and crew!

Best Spot in Sayulita

We had an amazing stay! Communication and hospitality were wonderful and the house was unbelievable. The staff were attentive and the house was well maintained. Perfect Sayulita

Casa Ilusion was the perfect Sayulita home for our party of 8 sdults and 5 kids, (ages 8 to 13). The home is absolutely beautiful, right on the beach, but far enough away from the bustle of town to be almost a private beach. The home had everything we needed to prepare meals but was within walking distsnce of town to go out for great restaurants as well. The house manager, Theo arranged everything to make our trip easy, including the transportation from the airport, renting a golf cart for getting around and insuring we settled into our Sayulita vacation. . You will not be disappointed with this property. Oh, and right next door is a quiet beach bar open evemings only for $1 tacos and tasty margaritas. Pull up a chair in the sand, order a pile of tacos with a great drink, watch the sunset, then settle back at Casa Ilusion, the most beautiful beachside home in Sayulita

Amazing Casa Illusion Experience

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family of 10 at Casa Ilusion. From the moment we arrived, we were awed by the beauty of this home right on the beach in the north end of Sayulita. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. It was absolutely our best choice for our family celebration. Special thanks to Theo, the guest manager! He was so very helpful and incredibly responsive with our questions before we arrived. He was always available with suggestions about restaurants, private cooks, boat companies, transportation, including golf carts, and so much more. Thank you Theo most sincerely! We had two different cooks while we were at Casa Illusion. Doris Rivera is an excellent cook. We thoroughly enjoyed her tacos, rice and beans and also her fried red snapper dinner on another evening. Daniel Murillo was our chef for our last evening in Sayulita. He is beyond amazing with his menu choices! He is an artist in the kitchen and we were impressed with his presentations and flavors for our final dinner at Casa Illusion. It was truly a memorable experience. We sincerely appreciated Fidalina, the housekeeper and Ybiz, the gardener. They work so well to keep the home, pool, and landscaping so comfortable and beautiful. Don’t miss Eric and Odette at Bar Miramar right on the beach next to the house. Their cocktails and tastings were fantastic. Staying at Casa Illusion gave us so many wonderful and lifelong memories that we will always treasure.

Best Birthday trip ever!

This property was the most amazing place to host family and friends for my 50th birthday. Close to town, close to the beach, and just a gorgeous well kept property to enjoy time together. Theo and all the staff were true professionals!

Amazing house and location!

The house and location were perfect! We had 4 families and all of the kids wanted to move in permanently! The space worked great for multiple families, the kids loved the pool and it was just a short walk to town. I would definitely book again!

Wonderful stay!

Perfection! Casa Illusion was a delight. Best house on the beach, hands down. The property is stunning. Theo was a fabulous house manager and Fidelina was wonderful - both truly cared about our group and making sure all was good. We loved being so close to town and also retreating to the gorgeous house that fit our three families perfectly. We would return in a heartbeat! Muchas gracias!!

Amazing Family Vacation

We had 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 3-6) at Casa Ilusion for a family vacation and it was beyond our expectations. Beautiful property with so many spaces to relax and listen to the ocean. We played on the beach, swam in the pool, and wandered into town. The staff was so helpful and we hired a cook for many of our meals. Everyone got to relax and enjoy themselves. Would definitely stay there again - for our family, it was a 10/10!!!

Beautiful property / grounds and great location. Sayulita was and I believe still is experiencing bacteria caused by a break in a sewage line that goes out into the Pacific....as I was told. There were 8 in our group, 7 became very ill. The same was occurring at other vacation home and hotels in Sayulita. I put it on my been there done that list.

Unbelievable!

Casa Ilusion looked fantastic in the photos and it REALLY WAS!! This place provided the very best family vacation we've ever had! There were so many luxurious bedrooms, lots of bathrooms indoors and 2 outside, a beautiful warm swimming pool, huge livingroom, huge dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen. There was tons of 'play area' which included 3 outdoor patios, 3 hammocks, lawn, sand with sand toys, and the walkway that led right out to the beach! There were 12 of us: a grandma, 2 couples, an 18-year-old, a 27-year-old, an 8-year-old, 2 6-year-olds, and 2 4-year-olds. The kids were in the pool and at the beach every day. The adults bought margaritas next door on the beach and across the street and played cards every night. We walked into town for shopping, some meals, surfing lessons, and sight-seeing. Everyone of us had a GREAT time! We cooked most of our meals at the casa. One night we barbequed meat from the market. Fidalina, who comes to clean every day, was just wonderful! She is so sweet and efficient. We all loved her. Yviz, who cleans the pool and keeps the grounds looking like a pristine park, does an amazing job! He even brought us some cuts of aloe leaves for our sunburns! The whole week we kept looking at each other saying, "This is too good to be true!" The little ones cried when we had to go home.

Amazing! Simply Amazing

10/10 if we could. This place was absolutely amazing. The location was great. Just North of the hustle, which we liked. Very peaceful. The house itself was incredible. The perfect setup for a group of friends or multiple families. The salt water pool, multiple gathering spaces, cleaning staff, gardener…it all adds up to a wonderful experience. And, Theo was very helpful making us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Highly recommend

Paradise with a view

Spectacular oceanfront property with best location. A little farther removed from the town square but completely walkable. The outdoor spaces are wonderful and the pool is heated. Some of the rooms do have a “damp” smell but once AC was turned on, it wasn’t noticeable. Housekeeper made coffee every morning which was a nice touch.

Beyond Expectations

Loved that the kitchen dishes magically disappeared each day, thanks to the lovely housekeeper. We walked across the street for healthy breakfast options at the boutique hotel that also offers yoga sessions. No need to bring your mat, there are plenty at the house. The grounds are spectacular, as well as the home. High end furnishings and bedding. We walked 10 minutes to town for dinner each night. Expect crowds in town. Casa Illusion is further towards the less busy north end (a big plus when it comes to the noise and traffic). The pool was clean, and perfect for our family and two-yr old grandson. We had eight in our group, and barely managed to take advantage of every sitting area the property has.

Located in the quiet north end of the sweet and fun beach village of Sayulita. Surfing, beach time, a wide offering of restaurants and some great local artisan design shops are Sayulita's main attraction. Located just steps from the left break right in Sayulita, Casa Ilusion's beautiful, secluded grounds of an acre include its own private beach setback.
