Perched above the trees of Newport, Vermont. Cedar Heights offers a breathtaking 360 degree view of the great outdoors. With glass windows soaring over 8 feet high and 12 feet wide, we want you to feel like you’re in nature without being outside. That means you get to view Vermont's beautiful winter season, when all the trees are covered in a soft, white, fluffy blanket of snow in the comforts comforts of your panoramic picturesque treehouse stay. Or, head down and soak in our hot tub while being one with nature. Crank up the jets, sit back and listen to the sound of nothing but the nature that surrounds you. What are our surrounding areas? If you enjoy skiing/snowboarding - Jay Peak is 20 minutes away If you enjoy quaint little towns - Newport Town is 15 minutes away. If you enjoy swimming/boating - Lake Memphremagog is 15 minutes away if you enjoy snowmobiling - the VAST trail is just minutes away. If you enjoy mountain biking - East Burke is 40 minutes away. Please note:
- Our team loves animals as much as anyone else! But here at Cedar Heights we want everyone to enjoy their stay safely and allergy free, so no pets please!
- Smoking is prohibited in the treehouse, if you must smoke please be sure to do so at least 150 feet away from the treehouse
- The treehouse is equipped with WiFi, but due to its remote location it is not high speed internet. Streaming shows/movies and browsing the internet works, but those requiring higher speed internet will have difficulty.
- No parties/events.
- During the winter months we advise guests to come in an AWD vehicle. Though our driveway will be plowed for easy access for all, it can still be difficult with how much snow falls Vermont sees at times
