Just right

Owner was very nice and very responsive. Store was convenient but hardly knew it was there. Lots of space for people and pets!

Family vacation

The house has plenty of room to accommodate a large group, the host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. Will definitely stay again!! The knotty Pine bar had great food and it’s right up the road

Great time

The host/owner was amazing. Only downside and in no way her fault or in her control is Verizon cell service doesn’t work in that area. That being said really want a downside seeing that people didn’t have there faces in there phones all weekend. Also very confident that she also owns and operates a convenient store attached to the property. Being in such a remote area it was useful at times. I highly recommend starting here. Like I said just/owner was an amazing person

Great place to stay for a snowmobile trip

The house is perfect for a snowmobiling trip. It is right across the street from the trail, you can ride from the house. There was room for our 2 trucks and 2 4-place trailers. The house was spacious and had all we needed. The hosts were awesome, friendly and had great communication. The house is attached to a convenience store and has gas on site - a big plus for snowmobiling.

Good location and nice house

House was easy to find and was clean and ready to go. Host was super pleasant to work with. Plenty of room for the family. 100 percent would rent again.

Great place!

The home was well appointed and comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and a nice kitchen to cook for a crowd. Worked very well for our family.

Fun in the North Woods

This property was perfect for our get away. There was plenty of space for everyone. We loved making fires at night and relaxing under the stars. Our host was great and it was nice having a little store on site. If you are thinking about booking here, do it!

Cozy stay

We were a group of 7 and was very comfortable in the “cabin”. The only issue was no WiFi and very little to no communication with owner. It was very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay

The house is spacious and clean. Attached to a small store so if u forgot anything you can get it right there. Private backyard and no neighbors. Great for dogs. Great location too. About an hour to Munising and an hour to Marquette. Lisa is very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Nice

We had a pretty good stay. The house is a great size and has all the accommodations we needed. The weather was exceptional warm for the time of year, we were up for deer rifle season, which caused a crazy amount of flies to be around but other than that everything was good.

Great Find!

This place has 5 bedrooms and a sauna. The owner was so kind that she stocked the refrigerator for us. It worked out well as an overflow spot for our family reunion! We'd definitely stay here next time we're in town.

Great stay

There were 7 of us that stayed here. We had an excellent time. Lisa and Ten were awesome hosts. They were very accommodating and helpful. Anything that we needed they provided for us. The communication was also great. We will stay again in the future for snowmobiling.

Really nice and cheap

We loved staying here, the price was unbeatable. However, the key provided did not unlock any of the main doors, the sauna didn't work, and there was no easily accessible wifi. None of these ruined our experience, just something to think about.

comfy place to stay

This was a nice place to stay. The property is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Lisa is great to work with. Her communication is great! She gets back to you promptly and answers clearly any questions you may have. I made a mistake when I booked the place and she went out of her way to acomodate for us. I would definetly stay here again if we are in the area.

Amazing home!

We had a family of 7 and a dog. We felt so at home with this property and the owners were just behind the house if we needed anything! The store they own being right there helped, too and my kids didn’t mind! They went above and beyond to help and make us feel at home. We will most definitely be back!

Bird hunting trip

Stayed here for 3 days for a bird hunting trip. Property was very close to good hunting areas. It was a little difficult to find as it’s very much in a remote area. The property owner was very good about providing directions. The rental was far larger than expected; so much space we could have had several more people in our group. The property is pet friendly which is very much appreciated. The building is confusing at first, because it’s attached to a convenience store, however, it never feels like you don’t have privacy and it’s nice to run next door for any small things you may need. The check in and out procedure was quick and easy. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice! Lots of room!

Had a nice stay here with my kids on our tour of the U.P. and we liked this place. Had a comfortable feeling to it and we felt at home. Lots of room to move around. Nice porch to sit on. Store wasn't too busy and didn't cause any issues with noise or anything, was convenient as well. Would be great for a group doing trail riding I thought, trail is right down the road with an awesome bar nearby as well. Lisa was an awesome host, very friendly and easy to talk to. If I'm in the area, I'll be back.

Best find in the UP

We came up and stayed as a group of 9. We brought our side by sides and were very close to a trail head. The convenience of the gas station attached to the property was awesome, they had everything. We were worried it would be busy and it wasn’t, it was very private and quiet. The owner was very helpful, even called weeks ahead of time to see if we needed any special accommodations. As well as when we were about to arrive. The pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of space and all linens provided. Also two full bathrooms are appreciated along with an indoor sauna! Animals were welcome as well. We can’t thank the owner enough for how nice she was to our family and friends. We will be returning in the future!

Bird Hunters

We are bird hunters and this location worked out well for us. We were able to go all directions from here. The only problem we experienced were the flies in the house which all of the Upper Peninsula is experiencing right now. The house will be rated excellent with a few more upgrades. Thanks to Lisa and Ten for a great stay.

We did not end up staying

The owner never sent us any access instructions, and when we showed up to the property, there was no way for us to enter. They also lied to us and said the doors were left unlocked for us, even though we had tried them and they were not.
