Take a step back into Cove History with this divine original fish camp cabin! This stylish and cozy gem is perfectly suited for couples! Enjoy authentic wood ceilings, vintage décor, granite counter tops, live oak shelving, breakfast bar and walk in shower. Nestled under huge live oak and surrounded by decking. This cabin offers a romantic retreat and escape from daily life!


The space
Stylish cabin approximately 400 sq. feet. Located across from the restaurant. Limit occupancy to 2 guests unless traveling with an infant. Dogs are welcomed however must be approved prior to arrival, including service animals. Dog fee is $50. Please pick up after your pet! Easy access to laundry facility! There is just one queen size bed in this unit. Absolutely no smoking inside!


A charcoal Grill is available upon request. Please let us know in advance if you would like the grill.

Welcome to Airboat Territory. The Cove is the only restaurant on Lake Henderson available by boat. We get plenty of pleasure craft and airboats as customers. Airboats are fun to watch, but can be noisy.


Guest access
Plenty of available parking and free trailer storage. Kayaks are available for you to enjoy! Schedule an Airboat or Pontoon Tour departing from The Cove daily. We are on Lake Henderson and have a personal boat ramp and docks to store your boat as well as an Airboat parking lot. Easy access to laundry room, restaurant and plenty of space to roam around!


Other things to note
Absolutely no smoking inside the cabin! Cabin is intended for the use of the reserved guest only. Guest staying on the property must be added to the reservation, including dogs. The use of this facility for parties, events or meetings is expressly prohibited unless pre-approved by the facilities manager.

Absolutely lovely stay! This is such a comfy, charming little house. The furnishings and decor are very unique and thoughtful, even down to the utensils. Although there is a restaurant across the road and activity from other people staying and boating nearby, they did a wonderful job giving the house and porch privacy. The restaurant was delicious! Staff was very friendly!

OMG so much more than we expected! We go to Marco Island every May and this year we drove from Iowa for the first time. Inverness seemed a convenient stop and we found the tiny house at the Cove! Wasn't really sure what to expect as we are not campers, so pleasantly surprised!The house doesn't seem tiny and it's full of beautiful furniture, has it's own outside patio and right across from the bar/restaurant so super convenient. Staff was excellent and restaurant was full of people enjoying themselves, everyone having a good time and super friendly. Locals, travelers and campers were all having a great time and the food was good too!We met the owner the next morning who gave us a little tour of the property and she was lovely! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again, book it in advance as we were lucky to get the one night we stayed, wish we could have stayed more! We're BIG fans!

WOW, the location and quality of this rental was beyond our expectations. Probably our best rental up to now! Plus the restaurant was fantastic as far as the food and service, best part it is only across the parking lot. Lots of channels of the TV to select from plus fast internet. Good place to come to if you want to relax.

Exceptional Stay in a Great Location!

The Cove Resort & Pub is an absolute gem. Check-in was at the bar, which was festive, decor was spectacular, AND there was a pocket Constitution on our table 🌟. The house was cute & clean. Loved the brick and eclectic decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful. Definitely a place we’d return to for a getaway weekend!

Luv Shack

Had a great time @ The Cove. The restaurant & bar was very convenient, and the staff was friendly & attentive. Food was good too. The Luv Shack was quaint & clean, & had everything we needed. Comfy bed, clean & hot shower, fridge & kitchenette, & big TV. The only negative was the water had a sulphur smell too it… other than that the entire shack & property was fantastic.

Wonderful visit

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Friendly staff and the convenience of onsite restaurants and bar. The “Love Shack” had everything we needed and was very cozy. Will be back in the future!

I’ve read the reviews and if you’re looking for a cozy lil “love shack” just a bit off the beaten path near Tampa and Orlando, this is your place! So cozy, so well designed, and nestled on a quiet piece of land in central FL. Do not stay in a hotel when you can stay here!

You don’t have to go anywhere else!

Thank you so much for the most well thought out, comfortable, and “all in one” experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay that provided all of the comforts and more! Your property has beautiful landscaping within a georgeous natural waterfront area. The love shack was perfect and even better your pub and restaurant just steps away while still maintaining privacy. We watched the sunset from the kayaks you provided and walked the trail along the water by the awesome airboats! Our whole trip was based off of the elephant rescue and scalloping, but your property ended up being our favorite destination! We look forward to seeing your warm and welcoming staff again very soon!
