This little 3 bedroom cottage on .5 acre lot is a 5 minute walk to private access to Lake Michigan!
We are located in the small town of Glenn, Michigan (10 mile north of South Haven and 8 miles south of Saugatuck)
The cottage will sleep 9 Adults. 2 rooms w queen beds, 1 room will have a bunk bed and a twin bed w a trundle along with the living room will close off to have an additional bedroom with a pull out bed in the couch.

We also will have for an additional cost a golf cart rental option during your stay for $75 per day
My daughter is handicap so there are ramps to the cabin.

This cottage has no TV, no internet and phones are iffy. Window air-conditioners (that actually works amazing). This cottage runs 5 generations down the family line. This beautiful place is where we take a moment and forget all those screens instead here at our cottage, we laugh around the fire pit, we listen to music, read, draw, color, play in the dirt, build sand castles, we sleep solid nights.
we play in tree houses and chase fireflys. Our kids are dirty because they played all day. We swing in swings that hang from trees. We ride bikes, walk to the Park. We play and swim at the beach. Here is where memories are made and problems are forgotten.

Amazing getaway!

Before booking, we were unsure because we typically stay right on the lake. We weren't sure how much the daily commute to the beach and back would bother us but it was easy peasy with the golf cart! I'm sure it wouldn't have bothered us even without the golf cart because they do have a nice scenic trail through the woods to get there where we saw deer and turkeys. Jeannette was very helpful prior to booking and accomodating. We didn't have to reach out to her during our stay because everything was set for us. The house was very clean. Us adults and kids loved the outdoor amenities! My husband and I were iffy about no wifi because of our businesses but it was the best stay honestly! It was so nice to unplug and we had everything we needed. Some of us could call/text at the house and view some wifi content but overall, we had really good reception right at the entrance to the beach when we needed it. We loved the nice big yard for the dogs as well. It was relieving to not have to put them on a leash each time to go outside. Overall, LOVED IT!

Lovely stay near Lake Michigan

My family of six had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore both Saugatuck and South Haven and it’s situated right between. The outdoor area was fantastic for our four kids and dog to play, the tree swing, tree house and hammock were all big hits. We had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t. It’s about a 5 minute walk to a private, dog friendly beach that was also really great for rock hunting.

Beautiful retreat

The location and privacy and closeness to the lake was just what we needed. Hosted family for a special memorial dinner for my mom’s one year anniversary beside a lake so beloved by her and my whole family. Thank you!

Family trip

This is our second time staying at this cottage. It was just as awesome as the first time. We absolutely love the private beach. Sunsets are amazing! The cottage is so cozy and has everything we need. Just need clothes, suits, beach towels, and food. I love that the phone service is spotty. It’s perfect to disconnect and just spend time together as a family. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Just ok with lots of room for improvements.

The first odd thing we saw upon arrival was a dirty diaper near the front deck and long uncut grass in a large part of the lawn. Heavy rains must have made the lot very wet so it resembled a marsh so-to-speak. When we pulled back the comforters there were so many dark hairs, human or fur pets, who knows, so we slept on our own blankets. Cleanliness became an immediate concern. The bathroom was lacking privacy with a half glass clear shower wall, and an uncovered window facing the backyard area. My two teen boys and girls were concerned about privacy during their showers, rightly so. There was a strong mildew/musty odor in the bathroom as well that never went away. So many bugs. A hornets nest on the shed near the outdoor shower was a no-zone for us. There are so many unsealed areas around this little, (yes, old) cottage that it’s the perfect home for spiders, earwigs, beetles, ants of all sizes, mosquitoes, etc., in every room, even after we put away and picked up all food items. And we were diligent, because who likes to eat a no-bake cookie from a sealed container crawling with ants on the outside? The cottage lacked lamps and only had ceiling lights. The fridge light wouldn’t stay on when opened. There wasn’t enough seating for my family of six at the dining table or living area space. Only one appliance could be used at a time. The closets were locked up so no place (like a dresser) to put your clothing or luggage. The second queen room needed an a/c window unit lik

Relaxing getaway

The house was great. It had all we needed and the host was super friendly and communicative. It's driving distance to so many fun places to visit, but the house and property were more than enough. We woke to a family of five deer hanging out in front while the baby deer ran and played with one another. My toddler was so happy watching from the window. We walked down to the beach and spent a wonderful day playing and collecting rocks. The tree house and swing were perfect. I watched my daughter practice swinging while looking out from the kitchen. So many beautiful memories! Would definitely return to make more!

Cute & Cozy!

We had a great stay! Clean, cute, pet friendly. We sat by the fire pit and relaxed at night. You are tucked away where it feels very private. AC works really good for window units. I was actually cold a couple of times at night. We drove into South Haven for the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. It’s about a 10 minute drive. There is a grill, oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker for cooking at home. Our phones were hit and miss, so the board games provided and swings/tree house were a hit with the kids. Plenty of room outside for our dog to run around. Overall a very relaxing and great stay!

Great Family Getaway With Our Dog

Loved everything about this property and the owners! If you’re looking for a place to stay with history, this is it! Did you know there is a tree house, too?! I somehow missed that in the listing, and was blown away when we pulled up and saw that right outside the cabin door! My boys climbed up there daily…and I did, too! We love to travel with our dog, Cooper, so we emailed about the 50lb weight limit for dogs, and they were more than willing to accommodate our slightly over the limit pup! While staying at the house, they shared events going on in town, and we were close to everything from wineries, breweries, the beach and even a Walmart! We can’t wait to book a stay over the summer to really enjoy the benefits of this property and being so close to the beach! Bonus-nature is all around you! We saw deer, bald eagles, wild turkeys and a peacock!!! Best weekend getaway ever!

Perfect Lake Michigan Cabin

This lovely cabin was perfect for a quick Lake Michigan getaway. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The neighborhood is cute and friendly. The beach is a quick walk away. The night skies around the fire pit were incredible for watching shooting stars. Glenn is a great base for exploring the area. Comfortable bed, too!

Just what we needed

We were looking for a break from all the chaos of life. This was it! No tv, no internet, no laundry, no dishwasher, yes please! Forced us to slow down some, we loved it. We saw deer nearly every trip down the lake access lane, beach had tons of nice rocks to look through. Our kids loved the adventure of the yard. We hope to return someday. Thank you!

Perfect place for everyone

We loved staying at the cottage, beautiful place and property tucked away in a quiet location but close enough to South Haven, Saugatuck and other fun towns with lots to do. After a busy day out it was a great place to come back and unwind around the fire in the evening. Easy walk to the private beach and the outdoor shower was very convenient to clean up after a day down there. We had kids and teens and everyone had a great time, that speaks volumes to me that we found the perfect place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway

We gathered our family together for a little family reunion. There were nine of us total for the duration of the stay (6 adults and 3 kids) and the house fit us comfortably. The place was clean and supplied. This location is perfect as you feel secluded but close to so much. We loved skipping rocks at the beach just a short walk away from the cabin. Durning our stay we went golfing, horsebackriding, disc golfing, hiking and spent plenty of time in the sun and at the beach. We will definitely make this a yearly trip. The host was in contact with us and was very helpful throughout the whole stay.

Great family weekend

We wanted to be. Eat water. We were. It was absolutely beautiful. The house was clean. Had everything we could have needed. We cooked in for dinner every night and it had more than what we could have hoped for. They tell you no WiFi before you arrive and we loved unplugging a bit for the time away. The girls are growing up and moving on and this was a perfect place to be with them. Will for sure stay again!!! Thank you!

Summer getaway

The cottage was perfect. Pics don’t do it justice. It’s just an overall lovely setting - a well-maintained family cottage built by the owner’s grandfather, set back from the road and close to the beach path. What a unique opportunity for our family to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Everything was super clean, nicely decorated and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Beds were comfortable and climate was great (window unit ac and ceiling fans as needed). I would recommend bringing a couple of gallon jugs of drinking water if you aren’t able to lift a 5 gallon jug onto a dispenser. We were fine, but I could imagine it might be an issue for someone with back problems. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Family trip

This cottage was perfect for our family of 8 plus 2 guests!! We had kids ages 10months up to 19. We could not have asked for a better time. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Just had to bring clothes, toiletries, and food. A short walk and some stairs to our own spot on a private beach which was gorgeous. The outdoor shower was the best for rinsing off after a day at the beach. There is a nice firepit outside with wood. We enjoyed many games of cornhole on the boards they left out for us. A comfy hammock, baby swing, and tree fort was available too! They have board games inside for various ages as well. Beds were very comfy with enough pillows and blankets for everyone. Plenty of things to cook and eat with. They really have thought of everything! I do not have one single negative thing to say. The owner was the sweetest! Easy to get ahold of and super accomodating to all our needs. This place was everything and more! We can not wait to come again!

Our family originated out of Illinois, we purchased this cabin from my grandparents in 2016. Since then we have been renovating our little piece of heaven every moment we can. 5 years ago my husband and I decided to move to West Michigan and continue to build our dream in the very place we fell in love with.
