Family Beach Fun

I was very pleased that the house was just like it was portrayed online. Spacious and comfortable for kids and adults. Wonderful access to the beach. Everything we needed for cooking was there and the second refrigerator very handy! A wonderful stay!!

Beach trip

Everything was great about the house, pool & location. Loved that it had 4 master suites for all our couples (Wish it would have had an elevator for all us older folks!) Contact with host was prompt & helpful! Kitchen well stocked & icemaker was a plus!! Overall awesome experience.

It was Amazing

This is our second stay at the Romar House in Orange Beach, AL. We are very comfortable with our family stay of 20 from 68 to 5 years old. The location is exceptional and so many restaurants a drive away. It was absolutely amazing!

Excellent home

The property was perfect for our large family. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out along with a large deck overlooking the beach. The view is very nice as well. Highly recommend.

Great High School Baseball Trip

Our high school baseball team, coaches and their families had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room. The house had everything we needed. The team had a great time in between games. The pool was great. Beautiful beach just steps away. The team was able to bond and enjoy each other’s company. We had a devotional time Sunday morning. Everything was perfect. Thank you for allowing our team to stay.

Excellent Property!

Extremely well appointed and well equipped home. Gorgeous, and comfortable furnishings. Perfect privacy and beach access. Super location with access to great restaurants, food delivery, and grocery stores. We had our fingers crossed for a heated pool, or at least a hot tub at the pool but no dice. Would make a fabulous upgrade. Thank you!

Nice Property

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay. It was clean and nicely appointed; however, a few pieces of the bedding were stained (permanently, I think) and a couple of the pots and pans need replacing as we couldn't get them clean either. Also, the range had one burner control that was broken, so cooking for a large group was difficult.

Perfect home for our multi-generational family vacation!

In short, we have already booked the same home for next year! That says it all! But, here's a few more notes: . VERY short walk to the water . THE most COMFORTABLE beds ever (all the family commented on this) . The extra ice-maker was a game-changer . Plenty of space for 17 of us to eat and gather . Responsive host .

Excellent!

This house was perfect for our family! There were 18 of us ranging from 1 year old to 75 years old and and we couldn’t have asked for a better layout and location. The house had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have privacy when needed, but a great gathering space in the main part of the house for visiting with each other. The beach access was so easy to use and carry our beach things back and forth and the pool was just as convenient! It was close enough to get to, but far enough away that no one worried about non-swimming kids getting in unaccompanied and being in danger. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

SPECTACULAR! Doesn't get better than this.

From the mouths of every single person in our group (ages 4-60) "This is the best vacation ever" and "this is the best house" of all. I am the renter of all our vacation properties and have very discriminating taste and standards. It's always a concern if pics are current, if the property is clean, safe and up to date--Romar House at Beachside gets a resounding YES to all those questions. 1000% accuracy in the description and photos and the owner is actively involved with his rentals-he inspects them between arrivals - there is nothing better than owner involvement - from reservation through vacation completion, Greg was accessible, engaged and a pleasure to work with. The home itself is special, well appointed and spacious. The decks are amazing. If you are lucky enough to get the amazing weather we had (80's during peak of day and 60's at night) the A/C can be turned off and the deck doors opened-what a feeling of heaven to get cross breeze from the ocean throughout the house. The private decks off the master suites and then the larger deck for all to gather are simply marvelous-private time and family time, however, one likes it. The private beachfront was a fan favorite! We put a tent up on day one and left it until the night before depature-no worries. Leave all your chairs, pool & beach toys at home-the house provides ample & quality items. You will not want for anything. The ice machine, Greg, what a cost saver and a nice addition. Something that might seem small to some was a huge asset for us; we saved a mini fortune on buying ice for coolers for days @ beach & other outings.The welcome gift was a special addition-never had anyone do that before. God provided the beauty of the ocean, beach and perfect weather and Greg provided the little slice of heaven to make family memories. Our future rentals will be from Greg. For everyone else, rent this property, you will not be disappointed.

BEAUTIFUL home!

This was the perfect home for our large group. Absolutely stunning views, great common area, nice amount of kitchen / counter space, and spacious rooms. The beds were very comfortable as well! Will definitely book again.

Great home and location

We had a group of 12 in this beautiful home during the week of September 10-17, 2022. 21 beds and 8 bathrooms provided more room than we needed, but we loved the space. The home is well-appointed and designed for beach people. Big common spaces and great bedrooms and showers. 4 private balconies gave us great views and sounds of the ocean, and the weather was perfect! We were able to play cornhole on the back deck, and the private pool gave us the break we needed from the sand and the ocean. First time for many of us at Orange Beach, and we were all very impressed. The strip of highway along the ocean serves up a tremendous variety of quality restaurants, most reasonably priced. Overall, it was an awesome experience!! We would love to come back again.

A great place for a family vacation on the beach. The house was perfect for each extended family to have their own master bedroom and come together at meal time to socialize. The access to the beach was perfect!
