We had a wonderful weekend at this impeccably clean and charming home! Old World charm blended perfectly with all the modern conveniences we’re used to. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was excellent throughout.The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the house had everything we needed—and more. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and towels for our group of five.I just can’t say enough about how lovely this property is. Highly recommend!

Tastefully renovated 200/- year oldFarmhouse. Modern kitchen and baths, comfy beds, window type AC units but more than sufficient for our August stay. Kitchen and baths thoughtfully stocked with all the stuff you might need, although a basic spice rack in the kitchen would be nice - bring your own for now. Remote lot but still close to town, although not much going on in Easthampton, but proximity to and quality of the Bike trail is amazing (best to take short drive for access). All-in value was about on par with our expectations. A couple hotel rooms in the area work out to about the same price but with far less charm and character than this handsome property. A couple nits I’ll note. Outside gathering and sitting options are minimal. On a country farm setting, it would be nice to have a little sitting area and outdoor table to enjoy nature. Here, there’s a couple small porches but no easy way to enjoy dinner and drinks outside, for example. Also, host, while pleasant, lives next door and makes a point of coming over uninvited to give instructions and say hello. I’ll offer that most people don’t need or want that level of perceived surveillance. Texting with questions would suffice in nearly all situations. Combined with the several white board instructions throughout the house, it felt a touch overbearing, hence a minor ding on the communication rating (didn’t know where else to put it). I guess I could have insisted on privacy but did not. Overall, great property.

Terrific House & Host

Mindy was wonderful and accommodating. She lives next door so she is there if you need her but leaves you alone. The house is very comfortable (including the beds). We used it during graduation weekend where extended family could come and go. The yard is extensive (for us city folk) and very pretty. Thank you Mindy for a wonderful stay.

Lovely experience.

We had a wonder weekend stay. The house was charming and perfect for our writer's retreat. It was clean, the owners were friendly and available but there was really no need to contact them because everything in the house was visibly labeled and any instructions were easy and clear to follow. We enjoyed our stay and will be going back again.

Tranquil Getaway

Everything is beautiful at Fat Frog Farm. You are overwhelmed with peace and tranquility as soon as you arrive on the property. Every room is cozy, enough of everything. Beds, showers are just amazing. I wanted to return since my visit last year. Alison and Mindy feel like family. I can’t say enough.

Great place to stay!

We had a great time - the property is very conviently located to Easthampton, Southhampton and Northhampton, all nice towns with interesting shops and good restaurants. Also convenient to many nice hikes and bike routes. The property is nicely furnishe and the kitchen is very well appointed and clean with new appliances as well. The house had everything we needed and even though there are only air conditioners in the bedrooms it never felt hot inside. Check in was super easy and host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming property, charming area

Property is a great combination of authentic colonial charm and updated amenities that make the stay a pleasure. Service, comfort and privacy were great! Good access to surrounding area and a nice break from hotels as usual. Good place to stay for dance students of CLI Conservatory!

So lovely and peaceful!

We loved our stay at Fat Frog Farm! The property is beautiful, spacious, and so quiet. It was the perfect place for us to relax, while still being a short drive from everything we wanted to do in town and in the local area. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host went out of her way to make sure we were happy during our stay and felt very approachable. While we're familiar with the area, Mindy gave us extra suggestions and advice about current road construction in the area which was very helpful. Seeing fireflies on the property at night in early June was a welcome treat!

A destination within a destination

This looked like a lovely property online but was even more gorgeous in person. The house was spotless, warm and inviting. Many areas to sit and enjoy the sound of the birds. The host was great. A Hidden Gem!

We really loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is stunning! So charming, clean, and comfortable and everything seemed very thoughtfully placed. Mindy has the house setup with everything you could want or need to feel like a home away from home.This is one of my favorite short-term rentals we've ever stayed in and we travel A LOT. We really loved the location as it provided the perfect balance of privacy and scenery, yet close enough to downtown if that's more your thing. We had zero reason to leave the house and really enjoyed the serene setting and the quiet. Thank you Mindy for providing us with such a lovely stay! We will absolutely be back.

Beautifully updated historic home in peaceful setting

We loved staying here! The home was a perfect mix of historic bones and modern comforts. Truly a unique stay to be at Fat frog farm, and yet close to town. We enjoyed being able to walk around the property a bit and see chickens and wildlife. It was easy to find and park, even arriving after dark. Inside the home, we appreciated a very comfortable bed, quiet setting, and a well equipped, well organized kitchen. (There were even helpful notes on things like thermostat). The entire house was spotless, and it’s clear Mindy and Allison have put a lot of time and thoughtful effort into making it both appealing and functional -from artwork to linens. There were only two of us, but this house would be great for a larger group or family, and has privacy to spread out a bit. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and in fact am planning a repeat trip with friends for the Spring.

When I'm not busy helping folks buy and sell real estate....and thinking up the next big thing to occupy my time, I enjoy going to movies, hearing live music, and hanging out with my 14 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dante. Our day wouldn't be complete without a daily stroll through the beautiful Pioneer Valley, the best place on this side of the planet.

To quote Buckaroo Bonzai of the 8th dimension, "wherever you go, there you are". Boom, and just like that I landed on a farm in Easthampton, MA. All of my friends know that I love a project and this space (next door to the rental) is one that I'm really excited about. I like to think of the farm as a coconut, hairy and crusty on the outside, and sweet on the inside.

Come and go as you please. I live in the rustic farmhouse next door and I'm happy to chat but this is not an "actively" hosted space.
