Located on the serene Piankatank River, explore the water by way of kayak provided, fire up the charcoal grill and cookout, variety of board games, star gazing around the firepit & bring your own fishing pole and bait to fish off the pier. So whether you are boating, fishing, swimming, riding around in your golf cart, or sitting back enjoying the view, you will love this cozy little house. It has a fully equipped kitchen and 3 Smart TV's to stream your favorite shows. Relax and enjoy all the comforts of home away from home. You have access to the pier, small boat ramp, and playground within a 100 feet of the property. We are located about 1 hour from Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Williamsburg Premium Outlets. Just down the road from Mathews County, Gloucester, Gwynns Island, Virginia Motor Speedway, Urbanna, and Five minutes from the Piankatank River Golf Club.

Wonderful Property

I and some other croquet players were staying here recently for the World Golf Croquet Championships. It's only about 10 minutes from the courts, so very convenient for early morning games. The host was very responsive and the price was quite reasonable for the area and the amount of time we spent there. All of us would absolutely stay there again.

Right on the water

House super clean and updated. Right on the water. Air fryer, coffee maker, etc provided. Tvs in all but 1 room. Lots of room for 4 folks.

We enjoyed our stay on the waterways of Chesapeake very much. We fished, kayaked and visited Jamestown. Ray was a responsive and helpful host. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay!

This is a nice home on the water. The house is newly remodeled, nicely furnished and well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The house and property was gorgeous. The owner was great to deal with. He was very prompt on our questions and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the near future.

Great spot in a friendly neighborhood.

We had a fantastic stay at this home on the Piankatank River. The home was clean and welcoming. It was exactly as pictured, with a wonderful view of the river. The neighbors are great and very friendly. We fished and crabbed on the pier, catching crabs, catfish and a spot croaker. Overall, would stay again. Happy birthday to Dave!

Perfect Place to stay!

We had everything we needed for a few days away. Very clean and comfortable and the host was very responsive! Loved being right by the beach with beautiful water views. Not far from Kilmarnock and Irvington so lots of fun shops and great restaurants. I’ll definitely book this cottage again.

Relaxing Getaway

The house was clean, and I liked the floor plan. My favorite part of course was the view of the river. I used the kayaks, and had no problems. Very cute community, and people were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway

The owner was very responsive in communicating before & during our trip. The property is very well kept & clean. He had everything that we needed for our long weekend. The backyard offers an awesome retreat from city life. We are planning to return in the future. Very pleased with everything that they had to offer. Owner was super nice.

Peaceful and enjoyable

It was everything it said it was and more. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful neighborhood. Soft comfortable beds Kitchen was fully stocked with any thing you would need Nice place to sit outback and have breakfast and watch the birds and listen to the river. Husband loved fishing from the dock. Play ground right next door if you have little ones. We loved it and will definitely keep this site to stay again. Wonderful Host. Very helpful Great place to stay😊

Perfect getaway

We were playing in an event nearby. This place was perfect for our needs. A good sized kitchen, great comfortable couches for resting at night. Right on the water. We saw the local kids swimming and fishing. Clean and modern, would recommend.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

This well renovated home was exactly what we were looking for. The house has been renovated from floor to ceiling, and was incredibly clean. We had not experienced an electric fireplace before, and it was a very nice touch with the chilly weather outside! Bonus points for the ample coffee fixins! All in all a very nice stay. Perfect Location

My friend and I wanted to do a girls trip with the encouragement of our husbands. We were stressed. This was the perfect place to relax. We didn’t want our trip to end. Loved it so much we are booking again. Same time next year.

Lovely River Home

This home was exactly as pictured. It was clean and beautifully decorated. There was everything you needed supplied you just need to bring your food. The owner was very responsive to questions and answered immediately. I look forward to returning in the future.

Awesome view

Gorgeous spot on the river wether you are looking to fish or relax or plan on visiting sites in the local area it's just far enough away to feel private and just close enough ya not in the car all day. Place is brand-new the owners have done a great job with the place it was nearly 90 but inside it was chilly and perfect. Plenty of room for a family of four or five and anything you need in the kitchen is there. We added a waffle maker to collection we liked the place so much. We will definitely visit again

Great get-away!

The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. Has everything you would need and then some! It was great being so close to a golf course. Loved having kayaks on site with a very easy launching site. Would definitely recommend to others and will hopefully be planning a return trip! The hosts have thought about everything you may need and have also put together a notebook of helpful information about the area. Host was very quick to respond to any questions that I had. My impression is that they want their guests to feel comfortable and have a good time and not have to worry about anything!

2 night get-a-way.

This house has just been renovated, and it shows. (Looks brand new.) The view of the Piankatank River was excellent from the house. I enjoyed the early morning glass-like river while having my coffee. Communcation with Ray (owner/manager) couldn't have been better. I took many sunset pics. Beautiful. The house was well stocked with coffee & creamer and since I cooked our dinners, everything I needed was there.

Graduation and Father's Day Getaway

My brother and his wife came flew in from Texas for my daughter's high school graduation. My husband and I wanted to take them somewhere that was different and not the usual tourist spots in Va. Bch. and we all could relax and enjoy ourselves. The house looked just like the pictures and the property around the house and the river was just gorgeous. We enjoyed ourselves in enjoying the house and the scenery and we even did some fishing. My husband to our surprise caught a stingray. The house was supplied very well to having pots and pans and cooking utensils to coffee supplies. There were some spices that had been left behind from previous guest. We are looking forward to going back again and this time having my brother-law from Maryland meet us there. The owner was quick to answer his phone when we called him about the which dock was, we supposed to utilize. There's a convenience store close by as well as a Dollar General
