This property has 300 feet of gentle sloping shoreline ideal for boating, fishing and swimming on the beautiful clear water of Lake Manitou...The waters edge is only 20 yards from the deck overlooking the lake and if you are an early riser, the sunrise is just simply beautiful!!!

We had a wonderful experience. The cottage is lovely; the lake is beautiful. Great hosts - genuine - friendly and approachable. Cottage has some nice details - we had a great time!

We absolutely loved the cottage! Shawna and Mike were very responsive to all of our inquiries and needs. We love to take pictures and the moon light and sunrises over the water were absolutely stunning. The cottage itself had everything we needed. There was nothing amiss. The cottage was bright, roomie, and charming. The upgraded bathroom was lovely, and having the washer dryer combo was very handy. We went on day trips every day and looked forward to coming back and relaxing at our home away from home. Best cottage experience we have ever had. Thank you, Shawna and Mike.

If I could give this cottage more than five stars, I would.We spent three glorious nights at Can't Bear to Leave, and before we even packed the car to head home, we knew we wanted to book for next year.The setting on Lake Manitou is simply breathtaking. One night we set an alarm for 3:00 a.m. just to see the stars. Standing on the dock, listening to the waves gently lap the shore beneath an endless sky, was one of the most profound experiences I've had in years. A few hours later, we were back out to watch the sunrise over the lake. Pure magic.The cottage itself exceeded every expectation. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom felt luxurious, and the spectacular deck quickly became our favorite place to relax.The wood-fired sauna was a highlight, offering the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. And the screened porch during a rainstorm with a good book? Absolutely sublime.After just a few days here, I felt more relaxed than I can remember feeling in a very long time. There are places you enjoy, and then there are places that stay with you long after you've left. This is one of those places.This cottage has completely stolen my heart, and I am already counting the days until we return.
