I really don't think a rating is fair, the condo is lovely.Kathy went above and beyond for us.She spoke with the owner and got a crockpot for our use.She brought is a plunger because the toilet stopped up the day we arrived. She came and saw the water damage to the master bedroom and loom ceiling and the large scratch on the wall in the dining room.Then all the construction began on Monday ( she has said there was a little bit of construction when we rented) OMG it's full construction and the jackhammer and drilling out side of the front door for the first couple of weeks then up the side by the master bedroom the last week..She never knew it was this crazy..She listened to us, we were going to try to stay one more week in the beginning but we didn't, because we had to leave every day to get from the construction.Dust, concrete,blowing all over. All week long.
The construction workers were laying in the patio furniture by the water in early mornings before they started and and any breaks they had or laying in the back parking lot.The construction area said hard hats and safety glasses which we had none of.. We came back to drop some groceries off , and laid down for a few minutes to have the construction workers looking in the window in the bedroom, and they continued to do that an6 time they went up the crane. It was disgusting.. But Kathy has reached out to the owner and us to work on us returning when the construction is all over..Hopefully before the fall and winter season which is big for the Keys..
I think just from experience that if a company knows construction is going on they need to go see and hear what is going on by the unit that is being rented..Kathy never know the extreme of this until she came over and whiteness some of it her self. And I kept her in the loop with pictures …But it was sad that we really never had the chance to enjoy the beautiful condo..that we were so excited about..yes we will be back….i give Kathy 100% reviews.
