Nice stay

Enjoyed our weekend. Check in was easy, plenty of room for 4 adults. Good location near MGM/downtown Springfield.

As advertised

The duplex was clean and quiet. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to make dinner, although there was no kitchen towel for drying hands and dishes (very minor). Three bedrooms, two with a double/queen, one with a single, and it looked like the couch in the living room was a pull out. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. Wi-fi worked well. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would stay here again if in the area.

Nice and clean.

The place is well appointed and clean. Furniture is comfortable. Might want to bring an extension cord if you need to plug in devices next to the bed. Mattresses are a bit soft for my liking. My 21yo daughter loved hers.

The property was all that we expected and more. As a fellow VRBO owner, I like the less is more, simple approach. Have stayed in hotels in this area for years while traveling, those days are over. I will be back. Thank you again.

Not quite...

There was a lot not right about this property. It's a duplex, so there's shared parking. The other tenant parked in the middle of the drive. I had to park behind them. But almost every time i got from work and got settled

Very unpleasant stay

Unfortunately, the duplex did not match the condition shown in the photos. It was generally unclean and noticeably worn. The bathroom had a strong moldy odor, the fridge water filter was non-functional, and there was no hair dryer. During our stay, the young neighbor boys were smoking weed on the shared porch, while another began repaving his driveway, creating disruptive noise and fumes. We ended up leaving early—something we've never done in years of staying at vacation rentals. Disappointingly, the host offered neither a discount nor any acknowledgment of the issues.

Sleep was deprived

House was decent and would get a higher rating from me except for loud music played late on all 3 of the nights we stayed. I know this is not something that the property manager can control but there should be something that lets people know that it isn’t the quietest of places. Thurs night went until around 1a, Fri and Sat night went until around 4am, so sleep became a precious commodity. I know that I won’t be staying here again, even if it is a quaint place to be. Eunice was fast to connect on other issues that were present upon our arrival although things were not taken care while during our stay.
