Hike & explore the wooded hills or sit around the fire pit and watch for deer, elk and bald eagles as you take in the breathtaking San Juan Mountains. Move indoors to enjoy the incredible open concept kitchen/dining/living area with fabulous views from every window, modern fireplace, reading/relaxing nook, central heat/AC, internet, TV and many thoughtful amenities. You'll love this peaceful mountain retreat that is close to all that Pagosa Springs has to offer! Plenty of wide open space to enjoy the great outdoors during every season, whether you sled down the hills, sit on on the thinking bench under the eagle nest tree or hike to the top of the hill and enjoy the amazing 360 degree views! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The mountain views were stunning, and the sunsets were truly breathtaking — something we looked forward to every evening. The home itself was very well laid out, incredibly comfortable, and had such a cozy, welcoming feel that immediately made us feel at home.Everything we could have needed was provided, making our stay easy and relaxing.Our kids had an absolute blast sledding on the hill right in the backyard, which made the trip even more memorable for our whole family. The property is peaceful, spacious, and perfect for both relaxing and making memories.We have zero complaints and would absolutely stay here again. Highlyrecommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable mountain retreat!

Perfect rental

I stayed here a few years ago, and it was so great I had to go back. If anything, the property amenities have improved, which I didn't think possible. The owners and manager of the property are super communicative and caring. Next time I visit the area I will absolutely stay here again.

Great house

This house far exceeded our expectations. Tons of space and great amenities. The kitchen was great and supplied with quality cookware. We loved the peaceful deck and the games we could enjoy as a family. We were able conveniently make day trips to Durango, Chimney Rocks, a the springs in town.

The house was wonderful and well stocked. It was so quiet that most the time all you heard was the wind through the trees and the birds. The deer and elk came into view most every morning and evening and occasionally turkeys with their little ones would venture by. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home. I hope to come back again to Pagosa Springs it was beautiful.

Wow! What a place

This is by far the best VRBO rental we have ever been to. I could not believe how well stocked the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room were. The welcome basket was a nice treat. The house is gorgeous and the quiet location phenomenal. We normally are ready to come home after vacations, but not this time. We could have stayed longer.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! Kitchen has everything you can think of to cook, kids can run around outside, town less than 15 min drive. A dream home in the mountains!

Spectacular cabin

After a few different cabins me and my family had stayed around pagosa springs and south fork, we found to be this one our favorite, the cabin itself it’s amazing and the whole property that allowed us to hike around the house was great, we will definitely come back

Family Get Away

This vacation spot was perfect for our family of 6, from the easy check-in process to the cozy and comfortable home. The cabin was spotless. The location of the cabin was close to the area where my husband and sons go hunting yearly which was great.

Beautiful Home and Location

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this very nicely done home on a lovely property. Enjoyed the large back porch, the open floor plan and the extremely well done decor. Even got to watch 5 baby birds leave the nest ….. and repeatedly return …… right on the back porch. The prairie dogs were also fun to watch. We loved our stay.

Perfect getaway

The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The deck was our favorite place and we spent many hours there, taking in the beautiful view and being amazed by the quietness. If you want to get away from the noise and close quarters of in-town living, this is a perfect place to go.

Peaceful and quiet!

Absolutely love this place!!! It’s in the country surrounded by mountains and hills that we was able to hike! Our little one who is autistic was able to play outside on the porch and have a blast. The host answered all our questions in a friendly and timely manner. The house was clean and had everything we needed and so many games inside and outside we could play. We seen all kinds of wildlife with the prairie dogs being our favorite! I highly recommend staying here, we will when we come back. So awesome!

Amazing Pagosa Springs Location

We have been to Pagosa Springs 3 times and this has been be best and most beautiful location we have stayed! This was a family trip and the house had everything that we needed including indoor and outdoor games to play, some cocoa was provided and the outdoor fire pit was perfect! They had the most beautiful view of the mountain with amazing sunsets and we watched Mule Deer and Elk walk in the yard from the back windows! We hope to plan another stay here!

Comfort and beauty

This house is extremely comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The fabulous large covered porch is the perfect place to take in the beauty of the mountains and the ever-changing sky. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return for another visit.

Perfect

If you like coffee at sunrise and a glass of wine at sunset this is the place for you. I brought my wife and 2 boys (4th grade and 7th grade) for their first trip west. This place made the trip extra special. The views, the elk, and the wildlife in general (bring set of binoculars or a spotting scope) surrounding this property are fantastic. The drive to "town" is minimal and a good grocery store is close. We would love to come back.
