"The Deckhouse" is minutes away from Atlantic Beach in a central location with a fully fenced yard and is dog friendly! Previously had 4.93 stars and is now being managed by home owner.

- Close to endless restaurants, bars & stores
- Near golf courses + outdoor activities; fishing, boating, biking, trail hikes and more
- 10 minutes from Jacksonville Beach & Mayo Clinic, 15 minutes from St Johns Town Center, 25 minutes from downtown (GO JAGS!) and 45 minutes from St. Augustine.

This newly renovated home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is equipped with all the necessities to make your stay feel like home!

- All bedrooms have a queen size bed with white CozyLux sheets
- Kitchen is complete with appliances, cooking ware, dining sets, BBQ tools, Keurig coffee maker, coffee and tea
-Bathrooms are stocked with towels, soap, body lotion, q tips along with shampoo and conditioner
- The private fenced backyard has a deck, BBQ and a seating area. There is also a outdoor firepit with additional seating
- Game room includes ping pong, darts, corn hole and giant jenga
- Detergent and dryer sheets are supplied for the washer and dryer
- There is a smart TV so you connect to your favorite apps
- If you would like to have additional guests we can provide additional sleeping arrangements and must be notified when booking this property

You will have access to the entire home with a Keyless entry. We also provide our guests with a guest manual that includes our favorite places and helpful tips during your stay!

This was a perfect home for us to relax with our dogs (spacious back yard for retrieving exercise) and family games and barbecues with our relatives in the area. We stayed a month and enjoyed the birds - osprey hunting in pond outback every evening along with all kinds of bluebirds and warblers. Fun. The house was stocked well and five minutes from grocery shopping and bagels and smoothies. My husband even got a month at the fitness center which was an easy bike ride away. Lauren was always responsive. Thank you

Truly 5 stars for doggy owners; the yard is amazing for getting the zoomies out. The furniture could use a little love, though. The couch pieces separate easily and the slats in the bed didn’t attach, causing one corner of the bed to droop. However, not a deal killer.

Great House

We have family in the area and stayed at the Deckhouse while visiting. The house was perfect for our family. The communication from the host was fantastic and check-in was easy. Would definitely recommend.

Nice stay!

My family and I needed a dog-friendly rental for the weekend while I moved in to my new apartment just right down the street. We didn’t spend much time at the rental but overall still had a great and easy experience booking and communicating with Lauren! The house is in a cute neighborhood and convenient to The Beaches. I would say the furniture has some wear and tear that could benefit from being updated/replaced but that doesn’t stop me from still giving this place a 5/5 rating. Thanks Lauren!

Great experience

We had a wonderful stay at the deckhouse. The house was very clean and supplied extra towels and bedding. The check-in process was very easy. The most exciting was this house is only 5 minutes from the beach. I would recommend this house.

You are a 10!

First the host/owner is exceptional! I had few questions before I booked and she replies in a very timely manner. Second, the place is just SUPER LOVELY! It is located in a quiet place. As we walked in, we are so impressed with the functionality, the simplicity and the coziness. The rooms are large enough to accommodate families. The vintage lights is one of my favorites and the ceiling fans in each room are very functional especially when you’re in FL during summer. The touch lamps in the masters bedroom are neat. Wall mounted rain shower heads on both baths are nice to have & both bathrooms are spotless clean. The living room is very cozy as it offers a positive vibe every day. Third, the deck & the backyard! Oh how our fur brats love to sprint and play. The yard is well fenced, well manicured and well kept. We mostly cooked our food outside since we preferred to grill our protein and air fry (for the fur brats). Fourth, the breakfast nook turned to be my favorite spot to start the day with coffee, then business and other matters later. Lastly, my wife can’t just say enough how the place is very very well thought of. We really love this place! We enjoyed our stay. Deck house off Atlantic beach, you deliver! You are a 10! Ms. Lauren, you Rock!

Hi! My name is Lauren and I own The Deckhouse Off Atlantic Beach. I completely renovated this home with the help of family after purchasing the home in 2022. Jacksonville is a special place for me as I went to college at University Of North Florida (SWOOP!) to pursue my dream of running at a D1 university in both cross-country and track where I met my significant other. I am from Miami, FL and love anything that includes the outdoors, working out/running, food and my puppy Day.

I wanted to own a piece of where I spent 7 years of my life because I knew I just couldn't stay away! When I lived in Jacksonville I lived in Atlantic or Jacksonville beach but always wanted to own a home in a more suburban part of town where I could have the beach and a large home/yard all in one. The Deckhouse is located on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood that is 2 minutes from multiple grocery stores, coffee shops, gas stations, restaurants and shops.
