Are you ready to be adventurous, do something unique and fun? Well, it doesn't get more unique and fun than this! Welcome to The Fish Hippie Hut located on Rudee Inlet. The Fish Hippie Hut houseboat is a one bedroom Aqua Lodge. The Aqua Lodge has a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, equipped with an air conditioning unit. The cathedral ceilings offer a loft with 2 twin beds. The living room has a full sized futon, cable tv, and a separate air conditioning unit. The boat has a full bathroom with a stand-up shower and a full kitchen, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, hot plate, and a keurig coffee maker. The boat also comes stocked with towels for 4 guests and all linens are provided.

Great experience

Enjoyed our stay. It was a different experience being that it is a working marina but it was truly enjoyable. Owner was very helpful and all the people there were very nice.

The property was all it said it was and we enjoyed staying right on the water. Quick walk to the beach and Dave was great to deal with. Rain did not dampen our vacation except for beach time. We will be back.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time, friendly staff, and nice tucked away safe place in the heart of VA Beach! The nearby restaurant was awesome, the houseboat was cleaned, cute, and perfect for our family.

Great place!

The house boat was the perfect space to stay. It is close and convenient to many things, but gives the private, intimate feeling of a small community when you are there. Everyone we met, including the owners, were kind, personable, and helpful. I WILL be back!

Unique space two blocks from the beach

David and family treated us very well. Their houseboat was very clean and obviously well-cared for. It sits on the water’s edge in Rudee Inlet right behind some other beach-oriented properties like a restaurant and water activity charter companies. We could walk from the place to the beach, boardwalk and Atlantic Avenue strip in a few minutes. Check-in and checkout were in person and then David left us to it. He was very communicative whenever needed. We really enjoyed the quiet, comfort, and proximity to everything we were wanting to do in the Virginia Beach/Cape Charles area and would definitely book the place again.
