Property was nicely furnished and thankfully has great AC. The back deck was nice to have. The keurig didn’t work and the kitchen had bare necessities but if you cook and have leftovers you will need your own Tupperware.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean, the property was easy to access, and the amenities were great! Each room has its own A/C unit, ceiling fan, and television. That makes this a great house to travel to with friends or colleagues. The back patio was nice to sit on in the evenings. Our host was responsive to messages and we didn't lack for anything (other than a wine bottle opener!). Overall, great stay.

The house was as advertised. Clean and comfy and appreciated the parking being gated in with cameras. Need to fix the gate. Neighborhood is sketch with a lot of police activity though

Little getaway with the family

I must say this was an amazing property match exactly with the pictures felt just like home. There were some minor hiccups, but the wonderful host was on time with answering phone calls and text messages and came over right away when it was suitable for us to come and fix these minor hiccups. Other than that I made it feel just as home and made sure I took care of this beautiful property for my state he will be seeing me again this summer. You guys must book near restaurants, supermarket, and much more. It’s amazing.

Our Last Resort

My family has been staying in Vrbo B&Bs for 5months, 2 weeks and 4days. Our home was destroyed in May of 2024, it took 5 months to find a permanent place to live. The home was conveniently located near all the activities my family participatednin. The saying 'saved the best for last', definitely for this describes this Irvington home 🏡 ♥️

One week New York City

Staying a week with my wife and son. The house is very nice and meets the description. We used it as base for day trips to New York City. Nearby is a train station with easy commute to PennStation in NJC. The house was very clean with good aircondition and wifi. Communication with the host was all online but with quick response time. The bathroom is a bit small, but this was no problem. We liked the stay very much and can recommend it as a base for doing sightseeing into NYC.

DO NOT STAY HERE

When we arrived at the house, there were broken alcohol bottles on the front steps. The neighborhood is sketchy to say the least, lots of police activity. The property was over 85 when we entered. The Carpet was mangy and stunk. We didn’t let our children take their shoes off until they got into the bed. Nothing at all, like the pictures presented to be and certainly not “lavish”. There were broken windows hair, stuck to things on the bathroom, countertops and tub. Luckily it cooled off and we made it through the first night and then checked out early. Spent over 1300 only to get a 296 refund for a completely misrepresented property that my family could not stay in. Very sad. The least they could’ve done after all of this was to just refund the money we spent on a very misrepresented VRBO listing.

Awesome Stay - Definitely Recommend

Let us start off by saying we had an awesome time in the Irvington House. The renovations are beautiful and fully appreciated. The pictures are accurate, when we arrived the house was exactly as described. Each bedroom has an air conditioner and remote control fan. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed. The dishwasher washer and dryer was an amazing plus (dishwasher tabs/laundry detergent & dryer sheets were provided) . We appreciate the fenced yard and driveway. We did not have any issues with parking, the neighborhood, or location in relation to where we were going. It is private and no one bothered us. Communication with Shaun, the host, was seamless and he is very responsive. It made celebrating our daughter's college graduation an even better memory! We highly recommend the Irvington House. We will definitely book again!
