Welcome to Oaks & Waves Cottage
Tucked under the shade of trees and just one street over from the beach access (0.6 miles!), "Oaks and Waves" is the perfect place to call home during your stay on beautiful Oak Island.

Our coastal cutie is full of charm and character with modern conveniences waiting for you!
"Oaks and Waves" is located in the heart of Oak Island, less than one mile to dining and shopping, and just a quick walk to the beach access at SE 69th St.

Our two bedroom, 1 bath home will make your coastal dreams come true!

Relax on the inviting front porch with porch swing, enjoy a ride on our beach cruiser bikes or pack up the beach wagon and take a stroll to the nearby beach access. The newly fully fenced in backyard has plenty of space to relax. We can't wait to host you!

Oak Island ie a beautiful beach to relax and enjoy some quiet time it was just what we needed and the house was great I nice walk to beach and great sunsets we went morning and evening! The pelicans and dolphins are plentiful and what beautiful sand!!!

Wonder beach cottage

The cottage was just right for a relaxing getaway. We loved sipping coffee and enjoying the gentle breeze, while swinging on the porch swing. Short drive to the public beaches and the pier. The owners were super nice and quick to respond to my questions. Definitely plan to stay again.

Wonderful Cottage!

This cozy cottage was so comfortable and convenient. We especially liked being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. Michael and Tina were very friendly and responsive.

Peaceful Paradise

We had a wonderful time staying at Oaks and Waves. My granddaughters had so much fun playing on the front porch. The backyard was absolutely beautiful. The outdoor shower was nice. Everything was very tidy and clean. We made so many great memories during our stay!

Cozy and cute!

We came down for a generational girls trip and we had a great time, loved the area we stayed in and could walk to the beach, restaurants were right down the road. It was decorated so beautifully , it wascomfortable and had everything we needed! Hopefully we will be back next year!

Beautiful home

We had a great stay, enjoyed the home and location. Were out of TP and dishwasher soap, but replaced and left some extra TP. Would love to come back!

Beautiful sunrises

This house was everything it said it was a more. Very quiet location. Easy walk to the beach. We had a great time relaxing and reflecting. The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything to make the house a home away from home.

Super cute and good location!

The property had been beautifully renovated and very clean. About a 12-15 min walk to the beach, but definitely doable. It’s also close to the downtown, but make sure you make dinner reservations ahead of time if you go out. Nice, kid-friendly place and comfortable beds. Would recommend staying here anytime you’re in Oak Island!

perfect end to the summer

clean and well kept with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. distance to beach access was as described and a simple walk. dining options within walking distance as well. would absolutely return.
