Location!
We stayed here with my mom, brother and 2 younger kiddos and had a fantastic time.
The house is older but has quite a bit of updates. Some maintenance things (like not all light bulbs working, areas of rough plaster walls, and spots on the carpeting here and there) didn’t put too much of a damper on things. The upstairs works well for kids, but careful with the steep stairs! The yard is quaint and comfy.
Blue stairs and south beach are a 3 min walk, and you can allllmost see the sunset from the awesome front porch. The walk into town is about 10 mins through the neighborhood.
Suggestions may include ditching the bulky retro furniture as some didn’t serve much purpose and clear the cabinets of random stuff like old fall decorations. These things would not stop us from staying again, however.
