Relax & enjoy the lake view from your Adirondack chair on the lakeside patio. 12 minutes form the Mount Kato Ski Area and 15 minutes from Mankato! Short walk to coffee shop, grocery store & Dairy Queen in Lake Crystal. 1 king bed, 2 queen and 2 twin beds make this lake home perfect for a family or group. Plenty of room to spread out as the house has a family room, living room, dining room and sun porch along with 3 bedrooms. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals. All bedding and towels are provided along with many other necessities. Our family loves this lake retreat and you will to!

2 Kayaks, paddle board, 4 person, tandem and single bikes provided.

Absolutely gorgeous lake view out the back of the residence. There’s a cute little sitting area surrounded by flowers. The small dock is perfect for watching the sun rise and enjoying a cuppa joe. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Very charming older home that is very reasonably priced. Hosts were easy to work with. Can’t recommend this property enough. Thank you!

The entire property was as good as listed. Good mornings on the dock watching the birds, to good evenings around the fire looking at the stars.

Very charming home, plenty of room for our group. Beautiful pollinator landscaping- we saw fireflies at night. It should be noted however, that it is not a swimming lake. This was a huge disappointment. If you’ll be using the kayaks, bring water shoes.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for the kind words about the home and our pollinator garden. We are glad you got to enjoy the fireflies in the evenings, that is one of our favorite parts of summer here too. We do want to gently clarify for future guests that our listing photos show the natural rocky shoreline, and the property is not advertised as having a sand swimming beach. We provide kayaks and paddle boards for enjoying the lake, and your tip about water shoes is a great one for anyone planning to use them. Our own family and so many of our guests have spent wonderful hours out on the water paddling and exploring the lake, it truly is one of our favorite features of the property.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time! Lake Crystal is a great! Great for kayaking and boarding. And they had all the stuff for it!! They had ‘bicycle built for two!” And numerous other bikes. The grand surprise was the Surrey!! So darn cute! We sat around the fire every night. We live in Iowa and my son and his family live in the St Paul, MN so this was about the halfway point between us both. We all decided that we would meet here again! (Oh, and Mankato is so close and handy. No problem getting back and forth.)

We were 2 families with kids ranging from ages 8-11 staying over Memorial Day weekend so we did not use the lake, but we had a comfortable stay. The house was clean and kitchen had all the necessities for cooking. Loved all of the little fun touches like: the soaps from their farm, the record player and the tandem and surrey bikes. There were plenty of games and puzzles too. Would definitely recommend!

This comfortable lake house/cottage was wonderful! Our family of eight was very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet and the lake was calm with very little activity. It was a very relaxing stay!

Weekend get away

The property was great and communication with propery owner was fantastic. We caught a lot of bullheads off the dock. We caught other fish as well off the dock. It is a very small town, not much to do in it when the weather wasnt cooperating for us to be outside.

Fun On The Lake!

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the lake from the outdoor patio. The house is older but was like staying in a cozy cottage. The younger adults enjoyed kayaking on the lake, and I enjoyed sitting on the dock and taking in the quiet sounds of nature and the awesome view. The host was very welcoming and responsive and we really loved this pet friendly property. We would definitely stay here again.
