This is a BEAUTIFUL property conveniently located right down from the marina. Country feel and quiet but close to all the best stuff!! The Owners are incredible too!!

This property is beautiful!! My husband actually did not want me to leave a review....he wanted to keep it a hidden Gem :). Love, Love, Love everything about it!!!!!

Most time we can accommodate our loyal and “loving” guests. Come back soon, lots of fun events in the local area and fall has the best weather with not so crowded beaches.

Second time staying! Love this little place, and looking forward to being back sometime soonish! Everything was as you see online, and the host is attentive and caring. This time we had the wonderful experience of having family friends come along and rent the Wunderdog Bunkhouse and our kids had a great time exploring the outside area together. Thanks for the wonderful times as as spent our Memorial day on and around the beach!

Place was clean and well put together. It was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was partly my fault. Under the amenities it says kitchen. If I would have read further down in the I would have read it was a kitchen that only has a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. This was my first ever vacation rental so I dont know how normal this is. Other than that it was a great stay with a good host who was available whenever she was needed. It was close enough to the beach without being caught up in the traffic from it.

Great Memorial Day Getaway

Booked this a couple months out for last day of school/memorial day weekend - this is our third time hanging in Rockport for a Texas beach getaway. We've stayed in a hotel, a "stilts" house as my kids call it, and now this - and this property is my favorite by far! As a country boy at heart, I appreciated the physical location being out just a tad from the city itself. The 5 -10 drive in to the Rockport beach, the Ski Bay Donut Shop, the HEB or whatever restaurants was perfect. I loved the small ranch vibe it has going on. The property itself was just as described, amenities and all. The kids spent a significant amount of time outside exploring around the cleared area and having fun shooting some rubberband guns from Ace Hardware we picked up on the way in. Grilled out several times for lunches and dinners, loved the big grill setups they have, quite sturdy and well engineered! The front porch was used a lot in between beach trips and at night feeling the breeze was wonderful feeling, I loved to just sit and listen to the wind blowing through the live oak trees. The bedroom setup was epic. The kids loved having their own bunks and it was crazily sturdy built. Elle was super easy to communicate with, and always responded within a few minutes of me reaching out. We didnt need anything while we were there, but I am confident if we did she would have handled it quickly! I'll likely be checking out the other listing when we come back down for some fishing trips!
