Welcome to Towamensing Trails!

Looking for a winter getaway? Just 10 minutes from Big Boulder Ski Resort in the Poconos is this beautifully renovated 2 story contemporary mountain home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a bonus den with a queen bed that sleeps 10! With 2 open concept living areas, there is room enough for everyone to spread out & to spend time together!

The upper level features an open concept great room with a gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances & subway tile backsplash, a dining area, & living room w/ a gas fireplace, all connected by soaring vaulted ceilings & sleek luxury vinyl plank flooring! The ground level features an open family room with a dry bar, gaming table, a comfy sectional sofa overlooking a large flat screen TV, the laundry area, a separate bedroom, full bathroom & a fully stocked game room!

Looking to spend time in the great outdoors? Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Towamensing Trails community on either the upper level or ground floor decks! Embrace the beauty of the Poconos by relaxing on the decks, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and soaking up the picturesque views.

Poconos attractions are close by! If you’re looking to ski, snowboard or snow tube with the family, Big Boulder Ski Resort is just 10 minutes away, with a number of other ski resorts a short distance further. The home is also just minutes away to Hickory Run State Park, Hawk Falls, Boulder Field, Weiser State Forest, paintball, biking, & more! Downtown Jim Thorpe is a quick 20 minute drive away- with loads of shops and restaurants to enjoy, fun train rides, the Mauch Chunk Opera House, & more to explore!

Take some time away from the hustle & bustle and relax at our lake community mountain home! We'd love to host you!

Pets are not permitted. Prior authorization must be obtained for service animals. There will be a $200 fee charged for unauthorized pets.

We had a fantastic time. It was our annual girls weekend! We had a beautiful day at the lake, went out to a nice dinner and came back to the house and had lots of good laughs.

Everything about this place was awesome!

Nice vacation place

We enjoyed staying at the home as it was nicely designed for multiple family stays. It has good indoor and outdoor space for friends gathering. We had fun on the deck grilling and enjoyed the 1st floor bar areas with the game room activities to keep the kids busy.

Snow tubing weekend

Great home to stay at with kids. House was lovely and large enough to accommodate 2 families staying for a snow weekend. Very cozy, great kitchen and game room. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Excellent home!

This stay was just what we needed. The home had ample space for the whole family, and the extra bed in the office was awesome! Our kids loved the game room, and the adults enjoyed the huge deck. The home had the perfect furnishings, towels, kitchens supplies etc. Will definitely be back.

The property is lovely in a beautiful location. Roomy and comfortable with every convenience and fun things (games etc) to do. Deer wander around the grounds each evening. An easy drive to historical Jim Thorpe.

Perfect Bachelorette Getaway!

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate a bachelorette party. The house was lovely, honestly even more spacious than it looked in the pictures and well stocked with cooking supplies, games, and linens. Checking in and out was super easy and the location was perfect for us! The only thing we couldn't quite figure out was the heating system; it seemed to have a mind of its own and there were no directions in the book, but that didn't impact how we enjoyed our stay! I would absolutely stay here again!

An Amazing and Restful Stay!

I recently had the opportunity to stay in this house listing for the weekend of my 25th birthday, and I had an amazing time with my friends! The host was very responsive and kind, not to mention, the house was absolutely beautiful. It easily accommodated me as well as all of my friends, and also had a lot of additional items within the house that made it even easier to relax and enjoy our weekend trip in the Poconos.

Amazing place in the Poconos

This was the perfect place for my family to enjoy a post Christmas ski getaway. It was close to Jack Frost and Jim Thorpe. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The gas fire place and game room were bonuses. We would definitely return!

Great family fun!!

A wonderful stay. We stayed here with our family and cannot say enough good things about this property. Everything was clean and seemed brand new! Great location, very close to the lake. Spacious house with awesome amenities like skeeball, arcade games, two big decks, and comfortable furniture to lounge and watch movies on. While there were plenty of games and fun to keep us busy, we also enjoyed being surrounded by such beautiful nature, seeing deer every morning while drinking coffee. We definitely will be returning!

This house really sleeps 7

In the descriptions "sleeps 6" usually means 3 queen beds. We are a party of 7, and need seven separate beds. This house has it. Situatied in a nice wooded area, 20-25 min. drive from Jim Thorpe and most local attractions. Clean and nice. Highly recommended.

Great family weekend

This house was perfect for our long weekend away with our kids (14, 10, 2). It had everything we needed to make our stay convenient and comfortable, from plenty of space and bedrooms for the kids to have their own spaces to having things like tupperware and sandwich bags for us in the kitchen to take lunch to the lake. Our kids are already talking about how they'd love to come back next year because they had so much fun! The deck (one of two) was great to sit on in the afternoons when the littlest was napping, and the kids loved swimming at the nearby lake and playing basketball at the basketball courts after dinner one night. Brittany was always quick to respond to any messages I sent and we're looking forward to another stay here!

Property was as advertised. Manager was quick with communication. House was clean and updated (bathrooms were OK, kitchen was very nice). Only issues were minor: outdoor furniture was not the cleanest and the bbq grill was too weak to grill on. Not sure if it needed propane or something else.

Perfect getaway

Rented this home for a Thanksgiving getaway and it was perfect. Community very nice to walk in. Twenty minutes from Jim Thorpe. Hoping to return soon. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of bath towels. I asked about mixing bowls as we were cooking for Thanksgiving as I didn't see bowls in the kitchen pictures, homeowner insured that bowls would be there and they were!!

Fun With Friends

Lovely property. Large, bright, well stocked kitchen was perfect for our gathering. Outdoor spaces were perfect on our unusually warm weekend. We had a few issues but they were quickly addressed by the management company. I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax not too far from the NJ border.

Beautiful and updated house

Well stocked and beautifully remodeled home. Check in was easy and host contact was very responsive. Kids loved the game room. Only thing I would improve is the lighting in the bedrooms. We often had to use our phone's flashlight to find things in our luggage. Very minor compared to how much we enjoyed everything else.

House in the Woods

It was awesome!!! Lovely 4 bedroom house beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very modern and up to date. Nice having two decks!! Everything was very clean and neat. The Game Room was an added plus!! The location is perfect, in the woods only a short drive from the lake and pool. Also only 1/2 hour from the town of Jim Thorpe. A wonderful getaway!!
