Spend your days exploring the nearby Grand Traverse Bay, just a 19-minute drive away, or simply relax at home with the convenience of free WiFi and the comfort of a washing machine and dryer. Your home-away-from-home offers all the essentials, including a bathroom with towels and basic soaps, an iron and board, and climate control with air conditioning and heating. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled getaway, this apartment provides the perfect base to experience the best of Lake Ann.

Overall it was an ok experience. Check in and cleanliness were on point. There was only a half roll of toilet paper for us so we bought our own. I found it odd that there were opened/used shampoo/conditioner/soaps and a used razor in the shower, I feel those could have been put away for guests. I also don’t think it’s appropriate to ask for cash to be left for use of the washer/dryer, especially without expressing that in the listing. The yard definitely needed attention as we felt we were walking through a jungle to get down the broken pathway to the backside of the yard/basement entrance, we didn’t feel comfortable using the back yard due to the bugs that could have been mostly abated by proper yard care. One last con is the fridge doesn’t get cold enough to store milk and the freezer barely works for ice cubes. Now the pros: the location is perfect. Seriously can’t get any better for those wanting to explore all the small towns and the lakes. We even took a day and went to Mackinac Island which is only a couple hour drive. Highly recommend sleeping bear dunes national lakeshore, glen arbor, and Art’s Tavern. The VRBO was clean and there were plenty of linens provided that were super fluffy and soft!

I'm sincerely apologetic on the Toilet paper. I really wish you had said something as I would have had more delivered to you. I have instructed housekeeping to leave 4 rolls, which is what we usually do. New house keeper: she's been duly noted to leave a new roll on the holder and 3 rolls under the sink. The toiletries are for guests to use so they do end up reaching towards an end. Most enjoy them. Thank you for mentioning your reaction to the laundry fees. The laundry was being abused so we added the $5.00 charge to cover the costs of the machines and the detergent / bleach / fabric softener and maintenance costs. I will update the listing to reflect that though so there are no surprises. I try to leave 12 laundry pods. We will replace the refrigerator before the next guest stays. We recently lost our lawn care provider. I am very happy to say that is resolved and the yard will be mowed for each guests stay. The location is perfectly centrally located!
