Family resort cottage 3 on Big Glen Lake, Rent 1 or 5, dock, kayaks, rowboat

Escape from it all at Brookhaven Resort on the beautiful sapphire-blue Big Glen Lake! One of five cottages with shared access to 150' of water frontage, tennis court, basketball court, and row boats. Gather around the shared fire pit for s'mores and sunsets overlooking Alligator Hill in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. The cabin is one level, faces west, at the end of a quiet street, and sleeps four. It can be reserved for weeks only during the summer season.

There is one queen and two twins. The full kitchen (no dishwasher) has a charcoal grill and a picnic table. There is also WIFI. There is no TV or phone, so there are no worries at this peaceful location, only minutes from the village of Glen Arbor.

Quick drives to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, shopping, dining, kayaking, hiking, and more. Big Glen Lake is great for kids. Crystal clean water and no severe drop-offs. Boating, fishing, and swimming--enjoy them all!

Linens provided. No air conditioning. Sorry, no pets.

Rocky bottom lake vs nice sandy lake

Disappointed in Lake bottom was rocky and extremely unpleasent to walk on thus we did not enjoy as we hoped. Extra fees for VRBO and "host" not displayed in property listing. Risk of 50n charge if incorrectly contacting property management

This cabin was just enough for our needs. We enjoyed the proximity to the town of Glen Arbor and loved the evenings on Glen Lake. It was wonderful to have unrestricted access to the lake with use of kayaks/paddle boards at our disposal. There were times that the lake was unexpectedly choppy and we were unable to go out (being amateurs). However, there were just enough amenities and toiletries provided for us to make coffee, cook breakfast and occasionally have dinner. The town of Glen Arbor also had an amazing farmers market that we probably should have made use of before going to the very expensive grocer in town. Overall the place was clean and we would definitely visit again

The grounds were accommodating for our young family as we enjoyed fishing as well as playing pickleball. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed as we ate in each night. As a family we enjoyed being so close to downtown Glen Arbor and being on the Glen Lake at the same time. We also enjoyed the Sand Dunes and many hikes in the area. The only downside of our vacation unfortunately was the "swimmer's itch". Our kids got it so bad after the first day it was pretty unbearable for the next 3-4 nights sleeping and even continued as we got home. I think we ended up purchasing all the hydrocortisone cream that the IGA had available in downtown Glen Arbor. As it was no ones fault, it was just unfortunate situation as we didn't use the water after that first day. I would encourage other renters especially those with little kids to make sure to try and use all precaution before swimming in the Lake. I know as we grow older my kids will always remember this trip as the year we got swimmers itch. My kids have gotten it before but for some reason this year it was extremely intense. Lastly, the facility is great and it was so welcoming from the other renters as well. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Brookhaven 3.

Sunsets, campfires, and breathing room

Beautifully maintained property. Cabins are simple yet cozy, many things provided and very clean. Just steps from the lake. Plenty of breathing room and a place for gathering around the campfire. Highly recommend.
