Our home sleeps 6 and includes a King master suite. We are walking distance to downtown Sault Ste. Marie, LSSU, Ashmun Bay and the snowmobile trail head. Easy access to the expressway without traveling through town also. This is a perfect spot to use as a home base while exploring the area, attending events and tours downtown, boat watching, or visiting LSSU. Our home is fully stocked, has high speed internet, a full kitchen, and laundry, but if you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor setting, I would suggest alternate options just due to the small yard and neighbors close by.

Downstairs features a King Suite, and upstairs is a larger bedroom with a Queen Bed, a small bedroom with two twin beds, and a full bathroom (tub only).

Laundry is included on the main floor.

Pleasantly Surprised.

Was worried about the parking situation but was happy to see the road is wide enough to accommodate everyone on the street. The keyless option was nice so I never worried about losing a key. House was in good condition and plenty of things to use. Could stay for a month and have all needed equipment to cook and clean. Very cozy feel and spacious for a rental home. Near downtown and also a good view of the bridge.

Sault Ste Marie Trip

My two sons and I were in town for a high school bass fishing tournament. The location was perfect for us. We had a great weekend.

Great spot for exploring the city

The property worked out perfectly for my wife and I and our two grown sons. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted to explore in the locks and historic districts of the city.

Nice place; clean, close to everything - neighborhood not great

First of all the property manager was awesome. The home was clean and nice. The AC units were not great; because the bedroom doors needed to be open to have any AC. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy. We had no issues, but the homes on either side were a mess; over grown, trash, broken equipment- just not nice. It was too bad because our VRBO was nice. The steps were STEEP! My teen slipped down 1/2 a flight so definitely be cautious. We were close to all the fun stuff we wanted to do; the alley parking was convenient and again overall things were good but we almost didn’t stay because as a single mom with 2 teens - I was very worried the first night due to the neighbors.

Trip to the Soo.

House was clean and conveniently located for us to walk to the downtown area of Sault St. Marie. The host communicated with us about check in promptly. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone that wanted some time in the Sault St Marie area.

Sisters week.

We enjoyed the home and our stay in Sault St. Marie. Mackinaw Island, Soo Locks, and Picture Rock were all fantastic adventures. It was nice to have the house to come back to. The older home does has a slight musty smell. It cant be avoided for the age of the home. Still a great place.

Nice home

This place has everything you could need. Host did a get job communicating with me. The only draw back for our group were the stairs, other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

Nice stay

We were visiting family in the Soo who do not have accommodations for hosting . Renting this home gave us a comfortable place to eat meals and visit. The kitchen had everything needed to cook and clean up. The dining room had a large table with comfortable chairs. We chose stay on the lower level. The stairs to the upper floor are very steep and we did not feel safe using them. If you have someone in your party who is unstable on their feet you should plan to have them stay on the first floor. This home is well cared for, and served our purpose for a long weekend.

Great stay in downtown Sault St. Marie, MI

We had a great extended stay in this home over Thanksgiving week. The home IS clean and provides all the amenities you would need plus added bonuses! Erin is a fantastic host and we will definitely return to this home in the future. Loved the walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Portage and Ashmun. Lake Superior Campus just behind the home. Also a great spot to walk on the snowmobile trail with the dog off leash just down the road. So much to offer in this area!! Highly recommend!

Wonderful home away from home

Three of us stayed the night in this clean, spacious and well appointed rental. I would absolutely recommend this rental for your stay in Sault Ste Marie.

Great little house!

We loved our stay! We come up every summer to visit family and the beach. Normally we stay in Brimley, but decided to stay in town and are glad we did! The house is adorable and easy to get to.

Just what we needed!

This house was just right for our short trip. It worked well for us traveling with our dog, and was within walking distance of restaurants and the Soo Locks. The house was quiet and clean. Very much recommend to others!

Long weekend, traveled with dog.

Nice, spacious, very clean house in convenient location to attractions in Sault Ste Marie. Great communication with host. Appreciated having driveway for parking. Only suggestion would be for outdoor table/seating on backyard deck. But we enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay

Very roomy, lots of room for family of 6. Right next to college so was near students. 1 min drive to the Soo. 5 min drive to Canada. Great place.
