Small really is beautiful

The property delivered everything per the listing. Clara, Sofie & the rest of the staff were always helpful with a smile. The snorkeling was amazing; far better than the snorkeling excursion we went on. And the view was excellent.

Perfect vacation spot

The condo was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Restaurants and bars downtown are all close walking distance and you can easily get a cab to go anywhere on the island. Snorkeling right off the shore was great and easy to access. We will definitely return to this spot.

Hidden gem

Clara and the entire staff was amazing. our A/C unit went out on the first night and they had us up and running with a new one by 10 the next morning. what a hidden gem of a place and we will definitely return.

Beautiful Views

The property was in constant communication with us before our arrival. We had housekeepers, security and great office staff. The views were amazing and the water is literally out the back door. We plan to return!

Fabulous location with excellent access to all things

Our stay was magnificent! The hosts were amazing with very clean and comfortable accommodations. Quick walk to downtown and just a couple minute walk to beach front restaurant bar. Snorkeling is off the chain! Coral reef wall with moray eels, stingrays, countless species of fish and more! Beautiful up front world class ocean views with very well kept and raked grounds. Hammock, palapas, comfortable lounge chairs, and so much more. Kind hospitable accommodations that will make your stay in Cozumel extra magical!

Just what we wanted

Clara and staff were awesome. View incredible. Loved being 10 - 20 minutes walk away from town and cruise crowd. Great chairs, tables, umbrellas for lounging while listening to the ocean. The waters edge had great snorkeling, we had floaties we sat in and bobbed on the waves, what a perfect vacation! I rarely visit the same place twice. But this place? Yep, I'd go back!

Condumel is paradise

We love staying at Condumel. It is so peaceful and beautiful, and right on the water. Love the big patio doors opening to the ocean. The view is wonderful from everywhere in the condo. I will not book this place through VRBO again, however. I was led to believe from this posting that we were booking a downstairs room, and that was not the case. Clara was very nice and she explained to book direct and then ask for a certain room. We very much enjoyed our stay and will return, just book it direct next time.

Great quiet location!

We stayed a few nights at this apartment. It was a great place to stay. The area was quiet and the water and little beach were right outside of our room. We really liked that. The location was very good. We could walk into town for breakfast or dinner. Very convenient. The kitchen was equipped with food and beverages if you wanted them at an additional cost. Very reasonable. No need to rush to the grocery store! There was daily cleaning service included and a guard was present also just for security. Tips are welcomed:) Sara was very nice to work with. We definitely recommend this if you are looking for a quiet place to stay near town.

Hidden gems

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks . We had an amazing time. The staff was great very welcoming. This was our first time staying in cozumel and had no clue about the Mosquitoes this time of year. One of the staff members came back the first night to give us bug spray. Thank you for that you save me .. The location is good. Close enough to town that you could walk. The wildlife is amazing. From the snorkeling to the Iguanas. My husband and I enjoy feeding both the fish and iguanas. The big iguana love bananas. The snorkeling was the best The variety of fish in this location id out of this world. I Would recommend to anyone. Thanks to all the staff you made our stay top notch.

Hidden “gem” that will WOW you

Don’t let the humble surroundings distract you, this is a 1st class place. 1-Beauty: Our daily snorkelling (Clara provided the gear) reef, out back provided views of all kinds of fish and reefs compared to SCUBA diving, all just 30 feet from the bedroom. 2-Safety: 24 hours guard watches the property 3- Proximity: We walked and biked to all popular restaurants, coffee shops and stores downtown “CENTRO” in about 10 minutes. 4- Cleanliness: Spotless, Clara,Eloy, Miguel and everyone is obsessive about cleanliness and tidyness. 5- Price: Don’t bother haggling, Clara holds firm because she knows the place is special. Rental prices here are about 1/2 that of Miami We hope to visit again Thank you

Beautiful view - accommodations just ok

The best thing about the property is the views of the sunsets and the ocean from your condo or if you step outside onto the shared outdoor space. There were lots of tiny bugs in the kitchen and on the living room furniture - thankfully none in the bedroom. Furnishings very outdated, no TV, and a bit of a walk (very hot) to the grocery store. Also the condo had a very old locking mechanism that did not feel as secure as it I would have preferred. The VRBO confirmation did not include an address which presented a minor issue with securing transportation to and from. Carla was nice and responsive.

Condumel More Than Met Our Expectations

Our condo at Condumel was PERFECT! The view is breathtaking and the quiet relaxing atmosphere was so nice! Bill, one of the owners, met us on Sunday when we arrived, as this is Clara's day off. Clara is AMAZING. I lost my phone in a taxi and she was right on it helping me communicate with the Taxi Service, WHO WAS ALSO AMAZING, and we recovered my phone very quickly. Sofi, our maid, did a wonderful job everyday. The entire staff here is amazing. I cannot say enough about the snorkeling right in front of the condos. We typically go diving, but due to a knee injury, my husband was unable to dive this time. I saw a star fish, flounder, sand rays, eels, just so many other kinds of fish snorkeling. The current can get strong at times, so always wear your fins. I had no trouble with my fins on. It is always possible to drift down a ways and get out on a sandy beach and walk back. We were less than a mile into town. Clara was able to put us on the ground floor due to my husband's injury after I notified her of it. We loved that the frig was stocked upon our arrival with drinks at a very fair and nominal cost. The bed was firm and comfortable. The a/c worked well. The kitchen was nicely stocked as well. The shower head could be a little better, but we didn't care because it did the job! The sandy beach area in front of condo was raked and clean every morning and umbrellas put out. Thank you Condumel staff. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO CONDUMEL. Thank you

Perfect!

Great location - close to everything, yet far enough away to be very quiet. Good security - very watchful staff. Excellent grounds and room - well maintained, clean, steps to the ocean and a little beach sand too. Why go anywhere else? And the staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating! Even comes stocked with basic starter supplies. Awesome place! I think we will be back!

A Perfect Week in Cozumel

We had the best time staying at Condumel! The property was just perfect...right on the water, comfortable accommodations, walking distance to town, and very lovely people! We were so appreciative of the supplies in the frig when we arrived. That made everything so much easier. Clara, Bill, Sophie, and all the people at Condumel made us feel very welcome. We loved the snorkeling and swimming just steps from our room. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!

Great spot

Located close enough to town to walk but far enough away that there are no crowds, the condos are set up very nicely for a relaxing stay with easy access to jumping in the water and snorkeling or just hanging out and reading.

What an amazing gem of a condo!

The co.bination of attributes, such as cleanliness, etc and the ease for check in, and Bill, Clara, Sofia and Eloy (all whom run the place) is a recipe for a wonderful vacation. All pics of the place on the listing just get better when you are there in person. Such an amazing vacation place!!!!

This place is awesome!

The location is incredible with the ocean less than 20 steps away to the clear & warm Caribbean water! Excellent for snorkeling & swimming. It's about a 10 minute walk into town to all the restaurants and shopping or a $5 US dollar taxi ride. The condo is super clean with daily maid service. The staff is available daily until 22:00. They are all super friendly and incredibly helpful. COVID tests to return to the US is coordinated by the staff. The testing company comes to your room and charges $32 US Dollars per person and the results are emailed to you within a couple of hours. The staff even provides a printed copy. They will also coordiante taxi service. The office loaned us bicycles free of charge & snorkel equipment too. The ferry to and from Playa costs roughly $15 US Dollars one way. Also note, the ferry companies alternate days for service. Ultramar (blue & yellow boats) is a bit sketchy when it comes to cost. They tried to take advantage of me twice with overcharging.. Winjet (orange boats) was great! Always pay in Pesos either with cash or converted credit card and you'll save a couple of dollars. Bring mosquito repellent, this is a must! Not just at the condo but the entire island! I would not recommend renting a car. You'll do better renting a taxi & save money for the week.
